Coast/Beach
Mullins Bay which is 200 metres from the property enjoys one of the finest stretches on the west coast's famous platinum coastline. It is very safe for swimming. A variety of water sports is available and benefits from the beach bar which is now managed by Royal Westmoreland. Various other west coast beaches are in very close proximity by car or a very frequent bus service which runs along highway1. They are all safe for swimming. Further afield there are fine south coast beaches.

Golf
Royal Westmoreland, Sandy Lane are about 2 to 3 miles from the property. There are also courses on the south of the island and these are about 8 miles away.

Travel
Grantley Adams is the island's airport. It is about 40 minutes (driving) away from the property. Taxi services are available at approx BDS$100.00. Car rentals can also be arranged for airport collection.

Distances
Speighstown, the island's second largest town is about a mile away. It is full of the island's heritage and has good shops including a large supermarket also fine restaurants of local and international standards. Water sport facilities easily available
Holetown is about 2 miles away and this is very historical and popular and offers a great choice of restaurants/bars and shops. Tours for diving, water skiing and, snorkeling etc can be arranged from here
The capital Bridgetown is a must visit.

Further details
The island is well served with banking and ATM facilities, internet cafes etc. The usual credit cards are accepted in most places and in addition to local currency the US$ is accepted in many places.
The island has a fabulous entertaining calendar and includes many annual festivals depending on the time of the year of your visit. Some of the major ones include Holetown festival, Crop Over, Holders Hill, Jazz, Reggae and Gospel festivals. There is horse racing at the historical garrison savannah racecourse. The National Trust is well established in Barbados and there is Open House between January to April which allows visitors to see many of the old Plantation houses. Barbados is internationally renowned for its horticultural successes globally and visits can be made to the horticultural gardens, Orchid World and the Flower Forest. There is a wild life reserve which warrants a day's visit. Tours are many and varied and include island safari, catamaran etc. There is something here to meet every choice and/or hobby.

After your initial enquiry and decision to book we require the following -A non-refundable deposit of 30% to confirm your booking. We suggest that you simultaneously take out travel insurance at the time of booking to protect this payment in the event of a cancellation. The full balance needs to be settled within 4 weeks of your arrival date.

In the event of a cancellation - 50% of the full balance will be refunded if the cancellation is within 24 to 14 days. For 13 to 00 days, 25%.
