Owners live locally and are on hand to welcome you and give information to help you enjoy your stay.

Oistins Village approx 6/7 mins walk away has shops, bars and restaurants. Oistins - an old fishing village is is especially appealing to tourists staying in other parts of the island who love to come and see the local 'Fish Fry' on Friday and Saturday nights when locals get together to eat typically local dishes, show off certain locally made crafts and dance the night away to local and international music.
Guest comment - March 2009 Dear Elise and Sylvan: I am sorry I have not written sooner, but I wanted to thank you for the very enjoyable stay at your lovely apartment. It was such a real treat for me to spend my all too short time living more like a local than a tourist. I am not a fan of eating fish, but Elise, that Flying Fish fillet you gave me that evening was a real treat. 'Bajan fish and 'Bajan cooking - that's the ticket! And Sylvan, thank you again for following me out to the airport, bringing me my left behind reading glasses - very very kind and considerate of you indeed! There is something about Barbados that is magic for me. I am glad I used public transport to get about instead of renting a car - it gave me another feel of being a "local" - and it surely saved some dollars. Oistins is quite the bustling place and your location was perfect for what I wanted to do. All the best to you and I hope I can do this again next February on my school break. Bob, Canada.
