Notes on accommodation
We have a daily maid service. Internet wireless connection and a free DVD library for our guests to use.
Outside
We have a large well maintaned swimming pool surrounded by lush landscaping for privacy. A large gazebo is close by for outdoor activities in the shade. There is a gas and coal BBQ for you to use at anytime.
For those of you who still want to work out on holiday we have a well equipped fitness room. There is also a clothes wash/dryer room for the guests to use.
Coast/Beach
Shades is a 2 minute walk to the famous Paynes Bay Beach, which has the calmest waters in Barbados and is ideal for swimming and all water sports.
Golf
Shades is situated just 400 yards away from the famous Sandy Lane golf course and 10 minutes drive away from Royal Westmoreland Golf Course.
Travel
We are a 40 minute drive from Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI).
Distances
The capital Bridgetown is a 15 minute drive away.
Further details
Local banking, duty free shopping and the supermarket is 5 minutes drive away. There is a 24 hour gas station just a 10 minute walk away that has a well stocked mini mart for your convenience. The buses in Barbados are frequent and there is a bus stop at the end of the road.
