Fodors). Also nearby are Cockleshell Beach, Banana Bay, Sandy Bank Bay and South Friar’s Bay, all stunning beaches to explore and enjoy. The house has the most breathtaking views from sunrise to sunset, and sits in a 2/3rds acre private gated garden with summerhouse, 22ft infinity swimming pool, plus a large pool deck and verandah where you can sunbathe or eat al fresco at the huge teak table. Everything is provided to make your stay relaxing, enjoyable and memorable.

Notes on accommodation
Children are welcome at Turtle Beach House, and for smaller people there is a play pen and a travel cot available for your use.
Having four young children of our own who regularly visit the house, you'll find various pool toys, kites, bats and balls, and board games to help keep them occupied.
And when you want an evening to yourself we can recommend a reliable babysitter, who is a certified teacher/principal, first aid trained, and has years of experience working with newborns to teenagers in the US.
Accessibility
There are 15 steps from the car lot to the pool deck, and stairs from the ground floor to first floor.
Outside
A great feature of the house is the 22 ft infinity edge pool, from which you can take in the spectacular views across the Caribbean to Nevis.
There is a large amount of decked and tiled space to sunbathe and eat al fresco. You can enjoy a drink at the granite bar.
The garden contains a gazebo where you can escape to read in the hammock, sleep or just relax in the gentle warm breeze.
Coast/Beach
Turtle Beach House is literally a few steps from one of the most beautiful beaches on St Kitts. Also nearby is Cockelshell Beach, Sandy Bank Bay, Majors Bay, and South Friars. All beaches have lovely clean sand and clear water, and most are good for snorkelling.
Golf
There is golf course in Frigate Bay, about 10/15 minutes away by car
McBroom’s design at Royal St. Kitts covers 125 acres of lush grass with 12 lakes on the course and a moderate number of sand bunkers. The wide fairways and large putting greens present a fair, yet challenging, golf experience.
This extraordinary layout boasts water hazards on 10 holes, 80 bunkers and a multitude of coconut palm trees along the Atlantic Ocean. The course plays as an 18-hole, par 71 course at 6,900 yards from the championship tees. Four sets of tee complexes allow golfers of all skill levels to enjoy this splendid layout.
Travel
St Kitts Airport (Robert L Bradshaw International) is about 12 miles away. BA fly twice a week direct to St Kitts from Gatwick.
Distances
The capital Basseterre is about 20 minutes by car, and as the island is only 26 miles long nowhere is too far away!

St. Kitts seems to embody a kind of lush tropical paradise usually associated with the South Pacific. The atmosphere here is palpably luxuriant. It is an intoxicating blend of sunlight, sea, air and fantastically abundant vegetation. Stunning natural beauty, sunny skies, warm waters, and white sandy beaches combine to make St. Kitts one of the most seductive spots in the Caribbean.
While development has been of the highest quality, it has fortunately remained in low quantity, so St. Kitts remains uncrowded and unspoiled, famous around the world for excellent preservation of the ecosystems.
We love the genuine friendliness of the Kittitians, who have such a laid back approach to life in general, and we have always felt safe and secure on the island.

About the owner
We first visited St Kitts in 2005 with our four young children on a family holiday. It was a great adventure and we immediately fell in love with the island, the people and most of all the magical location at Turtle Beach

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We could immediately visualize just strolling out of our garden and onto the warm sand! The house that we built is designed to fully benefit from the stunning views of Nevis, while it has all the modern facilities that you would expect from a luxury villa.
Unique benefits of the property
We love relaxing in the pool or lazing in a hammock and enjoying the gentle Caribbean breeze; the peaceful location, the lovely beaches on the surrounding South Peninsula and the great snorkeling nearby. The Beach House Restaurant, Reggae Beach Bar, Lion Rock Bar, and The Spice Mill restaurant all close by.
