| The condo is equipped with a full kitchen with stove, refrigerator, toaster utensils and cutlery. Each bedroom has a built in wall safe. Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed and bedroom 2 has two twin beds, the twin beds can be joined to make a king size bed. Both bedrooms are equipped with air-conditioners. The bedroom at the back of the premise has a door that leads to a large wooden deck that is perfect for sipping a rum punch and enjoying the beauty of this tropical paradise. The deck can also be accessed from the main corridor in the unit. The living room is large and airy and equipped with ceiling fans. Notes on accommodation
Can accommodate one extra person in twin size air bed at nominal cost of $15/night.There is no charge if the extra person is a child under the age 10. Located directly across from Port St Charles Estate and 2 minutes walk from Almond Beach Village Resort. 1km from the town of Speightstown. Beach access 5 minute walk from the condo. This property is located on the bus route.

Coast/Beach
Barbados is a coral island surrounded by reefs and spectacular long white sand beaches. It is one of the smaller islands and is the most easterly of the Caribbean Islands measuring 21 miles by 14 miles. The west coast (also known as the 'platinum coast') is a fringe of bays and coves along the sheltered, Caribbean side of the island. As a result it is the best coast for snorkeling as reefs are close to shore and the Caribbean Sea provides calm water. Fabulous Heywoods beach is a 4 minute walk !
Golf
Almond Beach Village golf across the road from the condo-This is a 9 hole resort course. Fun for the hotel guest, but not the best golf in Barbados. This resort has a nine-hole golf course and offers an all-inclusive day pass for Bds$240 that includes dinner and allows use of all its facilities. Smaller packages, such as a lunch pass with golf, are also available. Phone 422-4900. For the best golf course visit Sandy Lane.
Golf at Sandy Lane with an impressive Club House overlooking the 18th Hole of The Country Club Course and The Green Monkey. The clubhouse serves the three Sandy Lane courses: The Old Nine, the Tom Fazio designed Country Club Course and the spectacular Green Monkey Course. Rockley Golf and Country Club is a mere 3.3 miles away from the condo. Royal West Moreland Golf Club is 4.1 miles away.
Travel
Seeing Barbados: Public transportation is excellent in Barbados, but hiring a car for a couple of days is a great way to see Barbados at your own pace. Great sites are Bathsheba, Animal Flower Cave, Harrison's Cave, the East Coast Road, Crane Hotel, Sam Lord's Castle, Farley Hill etc. Try a Safari, catamaran cruise for snorkeling and swimming with the turtles, or even the Jolly Roger cruise which includes meals and drinks!

12 minute walk to grocery stores, shops and restaurants. Thirty minute bus ride to Bridgetown. 45 minutes from Grantley Adams airport.

Heywoods Beach:
Located in the north-western parish of St.Peter, near to the town of Speightstown, is this wide, quiet beach (4 minutes from condo-Walking!!!!)
Here you will find a large open area ideal for swimming, and smaller rock-enclosed pools that are perfect for children to wade in. As with most beaches along the west coast, the waters here are very calm.
The shallow reefs are good for snorkeling, and other watersports are available nearby.
Around the corner the beach narrows considerably but there are still small pools in which you can take a dip!
Booking notes
A deposit of 25% of the total rental fee is required to secure a booking. This deposit is non-refundable. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival. In addition to the rental fee, a security deposit of $200 is required at the time of the booking deposit. A security deposit is required to cover any breakage or damage that may occur during your stay. This deposit is returned to you in full within 14 days of departure if there is no damages.

About the owner
I am 40 years old and I live in Ontario Canada. I have a beautiful wife and two sons that mean the world to me. We built this property in 2007 and we simply love the location with 1400 sqft in each unit, fully equipped with luxury amenities and wireless high speed. Located across the road from beautiful Heywoods Beach ...it is a good value for your money. No cramped hotel room can ever compare!! 12 minutes walk from the grocery store to your full size kitchen!!

Heywoods Estate is very quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Bridgetown. We have two upscale resorts (Port St Charles and Almond Beach Village) across the road as neighbors. Our guests can enjoy the amenities such as golf, tennis etc with the purchase of a day pass for $120USD/per person from Almond Beach. The day pass includes 3 meals and drinks. The magnificent Heywoods beach is a mere 250 meters away from the condo. If you spend a day at Heywoods it is easy to fall in love with this picturesque beach. Worship the sun in the morning or watch it slip beneath the waves in the afternoon.
