Notes on accommodation
Twice weekly housekeeping / laundry services are all included. Ocean One is suitable for kids and has elevator access to all floors. Every unit is completely air-conditioned but also offers the option of using the ceiling fans located in every room.
Accessibility
In general the property is wheelchair accessible other than the beach access which has a small stairway. Elevator access is available to all floors.
Outside
The property has a private and secure driveway and parking. It has one beach front main pool, a kids splash pool and a non-heated jacuzzi on the terrace in front of the building. In front of the pool terrace is our beach side garden where you can use the pool side lounges to relax. Two steps off the garden and you are on the beautiful white sand beach lapped by the crystal turquoise waters of the Caribbean sea (sea is safe for swimming and the property is gated, walled and monitored by security 24 hrs daily). Tennis facilities and water sports are available close by.
Coast/Beach
Ocean One is on the Maxwell Coast in the southerly parish of Christ Church. The property sits directly on the beach. The beach is but a step away. It is a clean, un-crowded white sand beach with beautiful turquoise sea safe for swimming.
Golf
Barbados has numerous golf courses for all skill levels including the Barbados Golf Club and Rockley Gold Club both located 10mins drive from Ocean One. Also available is the Green Monkey, The Country Club and The Old Nine all located at the famous Sandy Lane estate.

Travel
Barbados has one large airport called the Grantley Adams International airport (GAIA) which is 15-20 mins drive from our property. Barbados has an advanced public transportation system made up of large Mercedes buses and smaller privately owned buses. Car hire is therefore not necessary but is advantageous. Barbados's roads are well maintained and the topography of the island is relatively flat so driving is easy. We would recommend a hired car to enable visitors to fully experience the Island.
Distances
St. Lawrence Gap is 10-15 minutes walk away and so is the Oistins Village where they have the great outdoors street party with fresh seafood every night.
Further details
There is a mini-mart located yards away from the property where one can purchase the essentials. A full size supermarket is located in the nearby town of Oistins 5mins drive away.
The popular and well know St. Lawrence Gap is 5 mins drive away offering many dining and entertainment choices. The main city centre Bridgetown is 15-20 mins drive from our property but there are numerous places for shopping, dining, entertainment, bars and nightclubs located all along the south coast minutes drive away from Ocean One.
5 mins drive away is the fishing town called Oistins which features the famous Oistins fish fry and street party every weekend. Good local food, music and drinks.
Booking notes
We require a 25% deposit of the total accommodation fee at reservation time if more than 60 days in advance of arrival. If arrival is less than 60 days the full accommodation fee is due. The balance of the accommodation fee must be paid 60 days from date of arrival.

"Ocean One was more than we could have hoped for and highly recommend the development for anyone travelling to Barbados. The apartment was finished in the highest standards, with modern amenities, large rooms with stylish en-suite bathrooms, and a balcony with a beautiful view. The building was literally on Maxwell Beach, which was great in that it had some activity, but at the same time was quiet and secluded. The building is in a good location, with close links to the happening St. Lawrence's Gap and also a reasonably drive from the rugged and beautiful East coast. Would highly recommend Ocean One to anyone looking for comfortable, luxury accomodation in an accessible location. "
