All have individual sun terraces/loungers overlooking the Caribbean ocean with table/chairs for alfresco dining.

The main house is beautifully appointed, open-plan with a well equipped fitted kitchen, utility with washing machine, spacious lounge, airy dining room seating 6 people and a large covered, furnished terrace. Both bedrooms have air conditioning. The main bedroom (king size bed) is serviced by bathroom/WC and the guest bedroom (queen size bed) is serviced by shower room/WC. All units are provided with a safe. There is also a separate TV room, telephone and fax., internet access, wireless broadband. Relax with a drink on the roof garden among the palm trees and bougainvillea and experience spectacular views and sunsets. A romantic pool allows guests to cool off and for the less energetic the spacious ocean sun deck provides table, chairs, umbrella and sun loungers for soaking up that Caribbean sun.

Upstairs Ocean facing studio can be integrated as a 3rd bedroom to main house, or used as a self contained unit with independent access. Opening onto own private balcony with retractable awnings and sun lounger. Table, chairs, umbrella, provided to enjoy alfresco dining on private balcony. En suite fully tiled shower room, vanity, WC. Small kitchenette with electric halogen double hob, small bench top grill/oven, toaster, fridge/freezer. Double 4 poster bed, fitted wardrobes and cupboards, ceiling fan, air conditioning, telephone, safe.

Kitchenette with fully fitted pine units, newly installed 4 burner gas hob/microwave and fridge/freezer. En suite fully tiled shower room with vanity and WC. King size bed (6'6 x 6'6), fitted wardrobes, cupboards, fan and air conditioning, telephone, safe. Situated adjacent to pool and above sea terrace.

 

Notes on accommodation
Self catering. Daily maid service Monday - Friday. Although catering does not form part of the package, arrangements can be made for guests occupying the full property. Bathroom towels and bed linen provided.

Outside
Shared outdoor facilities:Romantic pool (16' pear shaped), barbecue. Ocean sun deck with sun loungers. Spiral stairway cut in rock leads to small secluded cove 16' below. You can fish direct from the ocean sun deck into the Caribbean. Bathing and snorkeling in the sea is sheer paradise. The sea bed is mainly sandy and its scattered rocks are generally soft. All forms of water sports are available nearby.

Coast/Beach
Located at St. James on the fashionable West Coast, set in dazzling bougainvillea and hibiscus, flanked by palm and casuarians, 'Ocean Blues' is a truly wonderful ocean house. At night, floodlight illuminates the terraces, garden and pool. You can see magnificent sunsets reflected in the wonderful Caribbean Sea. Terraces/garden offer privacy for sunbathing. Nearest beach 20 metres. Water sports are available nearby.

Travel
Grantley Adams airport is approx. 30 - 40 minutes drive
Whilst allowing security, privacy and peace of mind the property is conveniently situated on the west coast road (A1), approximately 3 miles south of Holetown, and nearby main hotels, restaurants and shops.
Frequent Local bus pick-up outside property
A hire car is recommended to tour the island.

Convenience store - 1/4 mile, Jordan's Supermarket - ½ mile
Directions to property: On exiting the airport, follow signs for Spring Garden, by-passing Bridgetown. The last round-a-bout is just passed the University of The West Indies. (you can see the ocean at this point). Turn right at round-a-bout and continue for 1/4 mile passed the Esso Filling Station. Ocean Blues is 30 metres passed Batts Rock Beach Road and directly opposite Crusher Road.

Booking notes
Terms and conditions: 30% non-refundable deposit to secure booking with balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival. Minimum of 5 nights stay required for studios and 7 nights minimum for main house/whole house.

The hospitality was fantastic and such a beautiful setting.
