The luxoriously appointed villa has coral stone walls, natural stone floors and open raftered, pickled pine ceilings. The bedrooms are air-conditioned. Ceiling fans in living areas. Outside
The terrace looks over the magnificent landscaped gardens shared by the owners at Greentails. The gardens compliment the established tropical setting of Sion Hill, lined by mature trees and old Mahogany's. Set in the heart of the gardens is a wonderful shared pool. Organically shaped, the 60ft pool is perfect for a relaxing swim. The negative edge looks over the wide timber deck meandering under the shade of the mahogany trees. The water cascades into a plunge adjoining the deck area.
Coast/Beach
All beaches in Barbados are public. Mullins beach is a 5 minute drive away as is Gibbes beach. There are numerous other beaches on the West Coast within easy reach. The beaches on the South and East coasts are 30 minutes drive away.
Golf
Sandy Lane golf course 10 minutes by car. Barbados Golf Club at Durants is a 30 minute drive away. The course at Royal Westmoreland (members only) 5 minutes by car.
Travel
The use of a car is almost essential to make the most of your stay in Barbados. Grantley Adams International Airport 40 minutes transfer.
Distances
Holetown, 7 minutes by car, for supermarket, shops, banks and restaurants. Speightstown is approx. 15 minutes away.
Barbados is a small island - 21 miles long and 14 miles wide so most attractions are within easy reach.
