Wonderful sea views

The views are spectacular and the main house has an upstairs balcony with sun loungers, chairs and a table which guests are welcome to use to catch some sun, eat a romantic meal under the stars or just indulge in the beautiful sea views with the sound of breakers hitting the cliffs. Around February time guests can watch the whales out at sea. The studio style apartment comprises one double aspect bedroom with a sea view, a queen size bed and ensuite bathroom (shower, wash basin and w/c). The kitchen has new appliances, electric cooker, fridge freezer, toaster etc. There is a kitchen bar with stools, or alternatively a dining table and chairs. The living area is extremely comfortable and there is even a piano should you wish to tickle the ivories. Villa Maria provides a wonderful “home from home” where guests can chill out, watch the monkeys and humming birds – even go exploring along the East coast which is magnificently unspoilt.

Coast/Beach
The nearby beaches of the Atlantic are wonderfully dramatic and unspoilt - great to walk along, search for pebbles and paddle in the rock pools. The beaches are not recommended for swimming; perhaps enjoy watching the surfers. The nearest safe swimming is in the Caribbean Sea and just a short drive towards Speightstown.
Golf
There are world class golf courses in Barbados. The nearest about 20 minutes drive.
Travel
The nearest airport is Grantley Adams, approximately 45 minutes drive away. We are happy to arrange airport transfers for you, also VIP "fast track" services at the airport so that you can avoid the queues at passport control. Alternatively we can provide easy to follow directions and have a hire car waiting at the airport for you.
Distances
The nearest town is Speightstown - approx. 10 minute drive.
The shops and restaurants of the west coast are just a short drive away.
Further details
There are many beautiful places of interest to visit, wildlife reserves, orchid gardens, local pottery.... Let us know your interest and we can suggest activities.
The west coast and all it has to offer is very close, watersports, fishing, cruises.
Very many sporting activities are available, for example: golf, tennis, gymnasium, yoga. We can arrange private yoga sessions in the comfort of the apartment. Also, beauty and spa treatments and massage can be arranged in the privacy of your apartment.

In order to secure a booking we require a 25% deposit. The remainder is due 8 weeks before you travel.
