Villa designed in traditional chattel house style yet with all modern comforts and amenites including wireless Broadband. Traditional fans are compliamented by modern air conditioning in all rooms. Tropical fabrics have been used to great effect and all linens and towels including beach towels are included. The housekeeper visits twice a week to make your holiday even more stress free. The verandah area is a great chill out zone especially the hammock, and there are external blinds for privacy. The gardens are a delight with tropical birds and even the ocassional monkey visiting. The development is well located for beaches, shops and restaurants.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible, to suit you. Departure time is 11 am unless agreed in advance.

Accessibility
Not suitable for those with mobility problems as there are steps up to the verandah and front door.
Outside
Wooden veranda to 2 sides of the property. Large table and 4 chairs on veranda with ceiling fan over. Hammock. Well maintained tropical garden. Car port. Pool with sunloungers and umbrellas.
Coast/Beach
Long sandy beaches are less then 5 minutes away. All beaches in Barbados are public and have free access. Mullins Beach, a 15 minute drive/bus ride away, is a spectacular white sandy beach where chairs and umbrellas can be hired for the day. Fantastic deserted beaches and bays are to be found on the south and east coast - transport required. Bottom Bay is our favourite - take a picnic.
Golf
Sany Lane Golf Course is 20 minute drive away. Royal Westmoreland Golf Course is 10 minutes drive away.
Travel
Grantley Adams airport is a 40 minute drive away. Car hire is not necessary but if you want to explore the island it would be worth hiring a car for a few days. It is possible to arrange taxis easily for short trips as well as tours. The villa is close to a bus route and the buses take you anywhere for a flat fare of Bbs$1.50 (50p approx)
Distances
Holetown, where there is a good selection of shops is a 10 minute drive away. Bridgetown is about 30 min drive. Both are well served by the local buses.
Further details
At Holetown there is a mall with a good selection of shops including a supermarket, video/DVD rental, bank with ATM machine, cafes, duty free opportunites (take your passport and flight details) as well as local crafts. Dining in the local area is varied from local takeaways to top class international resaurants such as The Lone Star (5 minitutes walk) and The Cliff (15 mins drive). Booking notes
25% non refundable deposit is required at time of booking. Balance is due 8 weeks before departure.
