Additional features include coral stone walls, high vaulted pickled-pine ceilings, open-plan kitchen, powder room, walk-in closet in master bedroom, remote operated ceiling fans and central air-conditioning in every room. The villa has been professionally decorated and tastefully furnished to a high standard and features fine art created by both local and international artists. From its unique vantage point one has a panoramic view of the Forest Hills, private pool and gardens, the lake, and the Carribean Sea.
Outside
Royal Westmoreland Estate is a 500 acre secure gated community with walking trails throughout. The Forest Hills community in particular is extensively landscaped with mature trees, plants and fauna. The villa itself is surrounded by Palm trees and flowers indigenous to Barbados and is maintained to impeccable standards.
Coast/Beach
The west coast of Barbados is often referred to as the 'Platinum Coast' and is renowned for the clear warm waters that lap gently onto golden sands. There are several magnificent beaches along this coast. At each of these beaches you will find calm azure waters that are perfect for swimming and clean coral sands on which to relax and soak up the brilliant sunshine.
Golf
Golf doesn’t get much better than at Royal Westmorland’s world-class 18-hole championship golf course - a 6,870 yard par 72 course of unrivalled beauty, with views of the shimmering ocean from every hole, and a layout to test every club in your bag. US Masters Champion Ian Woosnam - a homeowner at Royal Westmoreland - says the par 3s are some of the best he's played anywhere in the world. Bunkers abound, but considerable use has been made of the natural environment, with the 5th and 6th holes using an old coralstone quarry, and the 12th par 3 challenging the lowest of handicaps with its tight green bordering a ravine. Each hole has several tees to accommodate every level of play. At the heart of the golf course stands the elegant, colonial-style Clubhouse with sweeping views over the emerald fairways to the deep blue Caribbean Sea. This is home to the Clubhouse restaurant and golf pro shop with an extensive range of golf equipment, clothing and merchandise.
Travel
Grantley Adams International Airport is approximately 40 minutes away. Taxis are cheap and plentiful and do not have to be prearranged. Rental cars are also very affordable.
Distances
Holetown, a full-service shopping and dining area is approximately 5 minutes away.
Further details
Do NOT confuse this Forest Hills villa with a Cassia Heights villa. The Forest Hills villas are in an entirely different league, with regards to design, finishings, size and location. This particular villa is significantly larger than all other ones as it has a double sized master bedroom extension that has been done and a fully covered cathedral style terrace, perfect for outdoor dining.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your Villa. You have a very nice and private area, as you do not look into anyone else's balcony, and no one looks into yours. I was able to watch the girls in the pool from all three rooms. My kids loved the pool and slides and it was warmer than most pools - a real plus. What a great place for families. Everything was right there. The shopping cart was very useful with Holetown just down the hill. The boogie boards were great for our girls. The beach chairs were life savers, and the coolers were too. It was great to have enough room to move around. We really enjoyed being able to cook some of our meals right there. The location was great as we were able to get to both ends of the island in under 1 hour (though the traffic on the Island is congested!) All said, a great vacation in paradise. I see why so many people love Barbados! Thank you again for a marvelous stay. Michelle and Family 4/6/10.
