Changeover day
Preferred changeover day is Saturday but we are flexible dependant on existing bookings. Arrival time is from 3pm local time. Departure time is 12 noon local time.

Sunset Villa Apartment 1 (Sleeps 6/8, 3 Bedrooms)

Bedroom 1 with queen size double, air conditioning, wardrobe, dresser and ceiling fan. Bedroom 2 with queen size double, air conditioning, wardrobe, dresser and ceiling fan. Bedroom 3 with twin beds, air conditioning, wardrobe, dresser and ceiling fan. Lounge/diner with double sofa bed, comfy seating for 5 plus dining table seating 8. satellite TV, DVD, CD, radio/cassette and ceiling fan. Kitchen with range/cooker/oven, sink, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, juicer/liquidizer, grill and ceiling fan. Shower room with sink and WC.

Sunset Villa Apartment 2 (Sleeps 4/6, 2 Bedrooms)

Bedroom 1 with queen size double, air conditioning, wardrobe, dresser, en-suite shower room with sink and WC. Bedroom 2 with twin single beds, air conditioning, wardrobe and dresser. Lounge/diner with double sofa bed, comfy seating for 5 plus dining table seating 6. satellite TV, DVD, CD and radio/cassette. Kitchen with range/cooker/oven, sink, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, juicer/liquidizer and grill. Shower room with sink and WC.

Notes on accommodation
Especially good for family's, weddings and groups and diving parties. Wedding groups: bride and groom's families use each apartment and wedding ceremony takes place on the beach or in sugar mill at almond beach resort, which is at the bottom of the road. Reception can also be held there. Bride and groom then spend the next week at Almond Beach all inclusive resort for their honeymoon. Call for more information and help about your wedding plans.

Accessibility
Apartment 2 has a small step into entrance and out to patio, otherwise accessible.

Outside
Both apartments have large wooden tables and suitable chairs for the number of guests. A large umbrella is also supplied for each apartment. There are 2 BBQ available for use. Apartment 1 has a large balcony overlooking the pool and view out to sea. Table and 8 chairs easily fit with space to spare. Apartment 2 has a patio area next to the pool with French doors giving access to apartment.

Coast/Beach
The closest beaches are almond and Heywood's 5 min walk from the sunset villa. Almond beach is directly in front of Almond beach village all inclusive resort and is tree lined with sun loungers supplied for use. Heywood's beach is to the right of almond beach and between port St Charles. Heywood's beach is a lovely long, wide stretch of golden sandy beach which is very quiet and lined with palm trees. Just off the beach is a reef which is great for snorkelling for beginners.

Golf
Closest Golf Coarse ia a 9 hole at the end of the road on Almond Resort, open to public. Royal Westmoreland is 10 mins by car. Sandy Lane is 15 mins by car. Barbados Golf Club is 30 mins by car.

Distances
Close to shops.

Booking notes
25% deposit on booking with the balance and security deposit of £250, paid 8 weeks prior to arrival date. Credit card payments will attract 1.5% charge.

Guest comments
We arrived at Sunset Villa rather later than planned, but were given a very warm Bajan welcome from Dionne the Maid. The villa is very well fitted out with everything you could possibly want and all the furnishings and fixtures are to a high standard and the place was spotless.
The location is in a quiet backwater and was very restful with no noise at night other than the tree frogs.
Haywards Beach at Port St Charles is only a short walk away and in our opinion, this is one of the best swimming beaches on the island. Those who want a more active holiday would not be disappointed as there is plenty going on a short drive away, both night and day, down the coast at Holetown and Sandy Lane.
Barbados has a tremendous amount to offer holiday makers both as couples or families and Sunset Villa is an ideal "home from home" to use as a base.
