Cassia Cottage is set in a large, enclosed orchard garden. There are 2 grapefruit trees, a lime tree, a Julie mango tree, as well as a paw-paw tree and Bajan cherry tree. You are welcome to harvest the fruit and enjoy a sweet and delicious breakfast on us! There are also flowering shrubs which attract humming birds and butterflies, and graceful palms to shade you. The secluded verandah has ample space for relaxing and enjoying al fresco dining. A lovely, quiet beach and the Sunset Crest community pool are a 5 minute stroll away, and the shops, banks and restaurants of historic Holetown are within 10 minutes' walk.

Changeover day
We don't have changeover days and are happy to be flexible to suit you. Departure time is usually 11.00 unless we've agreed an extension in advance.

Accessibility
The house is on ground level so is accessible for guests whose mobility is limited. However, it is not specifically adapted for wheelchair users.
Outside
Large, enclosed garden. Patio furniture on the verandah. Covered car port. Sunset Crest community (shared) pool is 5 minutes' walk from the house.
Coast/Beach
Quiet stretch of beach 5 minutes' walk from the house, and plenty of idyllic west coast beaches within a few minutes' drive.
Golf
The world famous Sandy Lane with its challenging courses and glorious views of the Caribbean is just 5 minutes away; the exclusive Royal Westmoreland club is about 10 minutes away.
Travel
Grantley Adams International Airport is approx 10 miles away. You don't need a car to stay at Cassia Cottage, but if you want to explore the island you may want to hire one for a few days.
Distances
Holetown, the original settlement of Barbados, is about 10 minutes' walk away. Five miles north on the coast road is Speightstown. Bridgetown is about 20 minutes' drive, or an exciting $1.50 ride on the bus!
Further details
Cassia Cottage is close to the Sunset Crest tennis courts. Rates are discounted for our guests. Holetown has a laid-back Caribbean atmosphere. Beach bars, mid price and top class restaurants sit side-by-side. You can enjoy everything from local Bajan favourites to superb international cuisine prepared to the highest standards. There is a bank and two ATMs. The West Coast mall includes a supermarket, a business centre with internet access, a gym and lots of independent shops. Duty free purchases available for visitors to the island. The Chattel House village shops selling local crafts and popular Barbados products are only 5 minutes' walk from the house.
Booking notes
When dates are confirmed, we ask for a 25% non-refundable deposit. The balance is due 8 weeks before your holiday starts. We welcome credit/debit card bookings via PayPal. Cancellation refunds:- Up to 8 weeks – no cancellation charge. 4-8 weeks – 50% of rate refunded. 2-4 weeks – 25% of rate refunded. Less than 2 weeks – no refund.
