El Mirador is a stunning new complex in the fashionable Oasis Del Sur district. Built in Canarian style, set on two levels, the complex boasts 2 swimming pools as well as a children's pool. There is also large solarium/sunbathing areas set in attractive gardens with sea views and poolside bar/restaurant. The 'El Mirador Strip' which runs adjacent to us has several new trendy bars with entertainment and restaurants for all tastes,from Chinese to Indian, Italian to Spanish. There is also a new exclusive shopping mall just opened across the road with bars, restaurants,shops etc. Our apartment is in a fabulous position on corner ground level overlooking the main pools and gardens with dramatic mountain views, enjoying sun from early morning to late afternoon. Our security gated complex is blessed with being in a quiet tranquil position but yet only a stones throw away from all the bars/shops and restaurants.

Changeover day
We are flexible on changeover days and duration of stays. We are also flexible on arrival/departure times,we try and accommodate our guests where possible when we don't have back to back bookings.

Bedrooms: The twin bedroom has 2 single beds that can be pushed together, complete with fitted wardrobes. Access to the terrace/garden. There is also a hairdryer and safe.
Bathrooms: The large fully tiled bathroom has a bath/shower, bidet, sink and WC. There is also a cabinet for all your toiletries.
Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with breakfast bar and 4 stools. There is a hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is also a fan/heater
Utility Room: The utility/storage room houses the washing machine, folding guest bed, cot/buggy and highchair. There is also an iron/ironing board and airer.
Living Rooms: The living room is beautifully furnished with a leather settee/bed that can comfortably sleep 2 people, a leather tub, oak cabinet and coffee table. There is also a flat screen TV with BBC1/2,ITV1,C4,SKY SPORT 1, DVD and CD stereo. Access again to terrace
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Luxury bed linen and towels are all provided. The apartment is cleaned and fresh laundry once a week.

 

Notes on accommodation
Access to our apartment/complex has no steps, making it suitable for the mature traveller or people with walking difficulties. Its peaceful location also makes it ideal for families and couples. The apartment is ideally positioned,facing the pool and gardens with no other apartments overlooking the large terrace.

Outside
The large terrace/garden overlooks the main pool and gardens, with dramatic mountain views. There is a folding wooden table and 6 chairs/carvers as well as 2 folding sunbeds and 2 luxury sun loungers.

Coast/Beach
The beach/harbour is a short 5 min stroll. Restaurants, bars are a plenty, in nearby Los Cristianos town. Playa de Las Americas is also only 10-15 mins stroll along the famous geranium coastal path. The exclusive Santiago area is a must see.

Golf
Los Cristianos/Las Americas golf course is only a 10 mins short stroll. Costa Adeje golf course is approx a 10 mins drive.

Special interest holidays
There are water parks, a safari/jungle park and go-karting nearby, all with a free bus service. We can recommend the new 'Siam Park' europe's biggest water/theme park,with it's manmade beach and wave machine, a great day out for all the family. There are water sports available at the near by beaches. There are also excursions to La Gomera from the harbour as well as big game fishing and whale and dolphin viewing trips. Trips to Volcano Mount Teide, Spain's highest point is also available from Los Cristianos town for example.

Travel
Tenerife South airport is approx 10 miles away. Average taxi fare is 15-20 euros. There is also a regular bus TITSA 487 that runs every hour to Los Cristianos bus station.

All we ask for is a £100 deposit to reserve dates.We also ask for a £100 security bond,which is returned on the safe return of the keys.

About the owner
My husband and I have three children, ages 10, 8 and a little one of 2. We live on the outskirts of Cardiff, in a little village called Miskin. My husband runs his own engineering business and my time is taken up with helping him with the business, looking after the home and the children. My husband and I purchased this property 'off plan' in 2004, with our agent and friend deciding the actual plot number on our behalf, all we had was the constructor's map of the complex back home to go by. It proved to be a great decision to buy and indeed an even better choice of where our agent bought. With our chosen apartment being perfectly positioned on corner ground level, overlooking the main pool and gardens.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We have been looking to purchase a property abroad for several years, we travelled to the Iberian islands, the Spanish mainland and eventually chose the Canarian islands, for their superb climate. We chose Tenerife for having the most diverse beauty and Los Cristianos for it's beautiful restaurants, beaches and the quaint Spanish character of the old town.

Unique benefits of the property
Our apartment is only one of three on the complex that is accessible with no steps, being close to the ramp access to and from the complex down to the beach and town. We have fantastic views overlooking the pool and gardens with the rugged beauty of the mountains in the distance. We are also only a step away from the vast sun terraces that overlook the sea. Our apartment is both close to the 'El Mirador' strip that has bars and restaurants for all tastes, but yet it still has a peaceful and tranquil setting, we feel the best of both worlds, we hope you agree too. We try and offer a personal service to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our cleaner/agent and friend does a fantastic job in keeping the apartment in pristine condition on our behalf.
