This superb villa is located 5 minutes walk from the beautiful Las Cucharas beach and 5 minutes walk from the centre of Costa Teguise. Far enough away to ensure peace and quiet yet close enough to all of the restaurants, shops and entertainment. Our aim is to make this the best holiday you have ever had. Sharing with friends or family makes this the best and most affordable holiday you can have. We can supply information for flights. The villa has just been fully fitted out, March 2005, to a very high standard to include everything possible to make your holiday as comfortable and enjoyable, as is possible. Costa Teguise is the ideal family resort on Lanzarote. Sports facilities abound including a superb golf course 1.5km away and the Aqua Park, including water slides and flumes, is 1km distance. Notes on prices
We are now accepting bookings through 2011. 4 years ago when we first set our prices we worked to an exchange rate from UK pounds to euro of 1.45 and have stuck to this ever since. We have not raised our prices for the last 4 years.
If the dates you require are booked please Email us because we do work closely with a lot of other owners with similar properties and may be able to find an alternative for you.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Thursday to Thursday. This is normal for the island and will enable you to obtain cheaper flights. It also gives you a long weekend when you get home to recover!!

Bedrooms: There are 2 twin bedrooms and one kingsize bedroom, including a safe. 2 foldaway beds are available if required for a 7th & 8th person - Special cheaper rates if these are used. Both a mothercare cot and high chair are available free of charge.
Bathrooms: Both bathrooms have full shower facilities as well as the bath and the property has a 100 litre hot water tank, enough for all the family.
Kitchen: The kitchen has been fitted out to a very high standard with Bosch appliances including an eye evel oven and microwave. Hob, dishwasher, blender and full size fridge freezer. There is also a washing machine.
Utility Room: A full selection of board games, playing cards and puzzles are available to while away those sunshine hours.
Living Rooms: The lounge has a leather 3 seater sofa and 3 armchairs. A television with satellite stations is provided as is a DVD Player. A music centre incorporating radio/cassette and 3 x CD player, bring your own CD's. This also has a facility for games consoles.
Other: The modern dining room seats 8 people for those colder evenings and there is an 8 seater table on the patio next to the solar and electrically heated tiled swimming pool.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Maid service is weekly with a mid week service that includes a towel change. We supply beach/patio towels.
The pool is cleaned on Thursdays but can be changed to another day for your convenience if required.

 

Notes on accommodation
This Villa is suitable for both Children and the disabled.

There is no smoking within the Villa but smoking is permitted on the patio.

Accessibility
There are 3 steps up to the property but once inside the grounds the villa is fully wheelchair friendly. For disabled people we have access to a local rental company who can supply you with just about any equipment you may require from Bath lifts to Electric Trikes at very competitive prices.

Outside
The patio has a 7x3.5m fully tiled pool which is both solar and electrically heated with Roman Steps as opposed to ladders for access and exit. There is an 8 seater dining table, with parasol, to the front High walls surround the patio to afford privacy. We have included a full size brick built BBQ unit.

Coast/Beach

Golf
The Golf Course is 1.5km from the Villa. Lanzarote has a superb Golf Course just 1.5km from the Villa. Full details can be found at:- http://www.lanzarote-golf.com. If you want a playing partner both myself and Ros are players (after a fashion!)

Travel
A 'pick up and return' service to and from the airport is available. Prices on application.

A car is not essential but there are 3 car hire companies within walking distance of the Villa.



Distances
A small supermarket is situated within a 2 min walk from the Villa and includes a bakery. The nearest restaurants are a 5 minute walk away and central Costa teguise with a plethora of bars and entertainment is 5 minute stroll from the villa. Close enough to walk to but far enough away to give peace and quiet in the villa. Full details of cheaper supermarket are given in the information pack in the villa.

Further details
There are 3 car hire companies and a bike hire shop 2 minutes walk from the villa. A book swap shop is the same distance away - don't buy books in UK - they stock most of the latest novels at very low hire rates.

Booking notes
A 10% deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance payable 10 weeks prior to your holiday date. Payment will be made directly into our UK Bank with the reference number supplied by us at the time of booking. We are now accepting bookings for 2011. Don't leave it too late and miss the dates you want.

Had a wonderful holiday. The Villa is fabulous. Loved the pool, the privacy & the location. Really appreciated all the thoughtful extra touches like the Hairdryer, Travel Plugs, Board Games and even an umbrella, which thankfully we didn't need. About the owner
Josh served in the Fleet Air Arm before going on to 31 years as a Publican. Ros is an Accountant and still works out here because after 2 years of doing nothing she became bored and wanted to get back into an office environment. Josh retired and is not in the least bored doing nothing! We moved to Lanzarote in 2003 and decided to live in Costa Teguise because, although it has a nice variety of Restuarants & Bars, it is the quieter end of the Island best suited for small families and those who want to get away from "The Strip" in Puerto del Carman with all of the Disco's and 18 to 25 age groups on stag holidays.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Having purchased Villa Rosa we set about fitting it out & furnishing it as if we were going to live in it ourselves. Having achieved that we did move in for a while to make sure we had got it right. The comments from past Guests on our own Website confirm that indeed we did get it right. Villa Rosa is perfectly situated being just far enough away from the centre of Costa Teguise but only a short walk to the centre and the beach Our attitude is that it is our business to give you the best possible accommodation so that you return again & again and once again our Guestbook shows that we are on the right road.

Unique benefits of the property
We holidayed in Costa Teguise quite a lot before deciding to move out here and we stayed in some Apartments & Villa that could only be descibed as "Toilets". Old and dirty furniture, cracked crockery & hardly any cutlery. This made us determined that Villa Rosa wouold be fitted out exactly as we would want it if we were renting it for a holiday. Ros worked really hard sourcing everything we needed but the end result was more than worthwhile.
