Ground floor, poolside apartment with 2 patio areas. One undercover and one in the open. Situated on the Paloma Beach complex with its lovely gardens, swimming pool and kids pool. There are many bars and restaurants close by. 15-20 mins stroll along the tiled prom to town and main beach. 15 mins drive from Airport. If you wish to go in the next 3 months and we have availabilty, make us an offer, we can't refuse. Please note the prices quoted are for 2 people, per week. There are additional charges for more than 2 people & for Easter, Christmas & New Year periods. Full price list on request. Soon to be upgraded from a 1 key to a 3* complex.

Bathroom - vanity unit, wash basin, bath/shower over, wc.
Kitchen - recently updated and retiled ,electric oven, hob, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and iron/board.
Lounge - 2 single Z beds, breakfast bar, 2 and 3 seater settees, other local furniture, new 32" flat screen satellite TV with English channels.
Towels and linen included (not beach towels). Towels changed every 3-4 days, linen weekly.
Patio areas - 1st with table and chairs (in shade). 2nd larger area (in open) going on to poolside.We're always open to offers, when we have vacancies in the next 3 months.

Los Cristianos as a whole is very wheelchair friendly with many ramped pathways. Our ground floor apartments are ideal for wheelchair access. No stairs or lifts involved. The patio door is 28" wide, the front door is 30" wide. The bathroom door is slightly smaller & is only 23" wide.
We have 2 patios. The first is undercover and has a patio table & 4 chairs. The second is larger, in the open and leads onto the poolside area. There is a flower bed in front of the second patio. The 2 communal pools are separated for adults/older children and young children. They are partially heated in the winter months. There are many gardens and plants in and around the complex. Go soon and get a discount. The complex is soon to be upgraded from a 1 key,to a 3*
Important notes on accommodation
These apartments are on the ground floor, on the side of the pool area. As such they are ideal to wander in and out of to go to the kitchen or the loo etc. There are also 2 patio areas, so you can watch all the action round the poolside. The front door and bedroom windows can be left open as they have metal grilles to create a cooling breeze.If you go within the next 3 months you will get a good discount.Soon to be upgraded from a 1 key to a 3* complex.

Fridays & Tuesdays used to be the main changeover days. However, should you wish to go on other days of the week, or go for other than 7 or 14 days we can be flexible to meet your needs. We supply door keys in the UK. Arrival/departure time are flexible.
Please telephone, fax or e-mail to be sent further details of our apartments, Paloma Beach and Los Cristianos. A deposit of £100 per week rental is required. The balance payable 8 weeks before departure. We send the keys at your home. So you have them when you leave the UK. No fiddling around on arrival!

About the area
The main beach in Los Cristianos is very sandy and large and because it is protected by the fishing harbour the sea is never rough. It is therefore ideal for young children or non swimmers.The main beach is 10-15 mins stroll along the tiled promenade. Los Cristianos is also a fishing port. The quay has many colourful boats and other vessels at anchor. There is a good supply of local fish. From the quay you can go to Gomera (another beautiful Canary Island)by ferry or hovercraft & other Canary Is
There are several golf courses within 20 minutes drive of Paloma Beach.
How to get there
The main airport is Tenerife South (Reina Sofia). It is about 15 minutes drive by car or taxi to the complex. There are always plenty of taxis available to meet flights & the fare for up to 4 people is about 25 Euros. Car hire is not essential, but it is relatively cheap as is fuel. Car hire or public transport is recommended should you wish to see more of this beautiful Island.
Los Cristianos is next to the larger Playa de las Americas, with its many beaches, shops, bars, restaurants, lively nightlife & waterpark. Cheap local buses go from Los Cristianos to all parts of Tenerife. There are free coaches to many of the attractions.
Los Cristianos has an excellent choice of restaurants & bars catering for all tastes & pockets. Food & drink are cheaper than in the UK, making it economical to eat out. Local fish is a speciality. There are varied shops to look around which close quite late at night. Many are in the pedestrianised part of town, where you can also find banks, car hire firms & supermarkets.The complex is expected to be upgrded soon from a 1 key to a 3*.

"Paloma Beach Apts"
A very nice complex, staff very pleasant, nice and clean. The apartment is very nice but lacks the feel of being a privately rented one. There was no nice welcome letter in the folder, in fact it was just a folder left by the complex. No welcome pack, no toilet rolls in the bathroom, towels were thin hard and rough, nothing to wash up with in the kitchen.Patio doors were a problem to open. It felt like it was just a package holiday. Never experienced private rentals like this before and I've been on many.

"Ideal for those with limited mobility"
Had a wonderful holiday I use a mobility scooter/buggy and was able to keep the scooter on the patio area of the apartment. Owner was extremely helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend for ease of access within apartment, complex and around resort.

About the Owner
My wife & I are in our early 70s I am a retird Manager of a Middle-Eastern Bank. My wife is a self-employed Accountant working locally. We have 2 grown up children & 5 grandchildren. We have lived in Leigh-on-Sea in Essex for over 30 years. We have had the apartments on Paloma Beach for many years & because they are on the side of the pool, they let out regularly & well in advance. They have been regularly upgraded. In the past 7 years we have had new bathrooms fitted, all the floors have been completely retiled throughout, new worktops/retiled walls in the kitchens, new 32" TVs installed.2 sofas for each apartment were purchased,from Ikea were purchased in August 2013. Because we have 2 patios for each apartment it makes coming & going to & from the pool/apartment so easy.

Why this location?
Paloma Beach is only 200 yards from the main promenade & sea, into Los Cristianos. There are no hills to climb. It is a 15-20 minutes leisurely stroll into the town. Access to our ground floor apartments is easy. No steps, no lifts are used. Wheelchair friendly. It is a friendly complex with a mix of holiday makers & residents. Paloma Beach is not too large, but large enough & near to shops for most of the amenities necessary for day to day needs.
What are the unique benefits of the property?
The main benefit of our poolside apartments are:- the 2 patio areas. The smaller one in the shade with table & chairs. The second, larger one, in the sun going straight to the side of the pool. So, you can be just 3 steps from the apartment, on the side of the pool & go directly to the kitchen for a drink or to the loo without going up lifts or stairs. Just 10 seconds & you are in the apartment. The patio has a nice view out over the pool & surrounding area too.
