Casa Kernow is a large Canarian house with 4 very individual and spacious apartments, 2 are 1 bedroomed and 2 are 2 bedroomed. 5 mins from Arrecife airport and views over the sea to Fuerteventura. Private pool, shady terraces and tropical gardens. Large plot. Large car park.Owners live on site, so lots of island advice is available if required. The grounds have ample sunbeds, chairs, tables and a barbecue area.

Bedroom is cool, large with single beds, summer weight duvets in winter. Substantial fitted wardrobes and shelving.

Notes on accommodation
All accommodation is light airy and cool, but we supply fans as standard anyway. We also have a cot available at no extra charge. The villa is suitable for children ie. the pool area is fenced. Smoke alarms are fitted in all apartments.
All apartments can be rented as a unit if required for a large party (up to 20 persons).

Outside
Pool is approx 11 x 5 metres, solar heated, and gets the sun all day long. Underwater lights for night swimming. Gardens are large and shady with lots of exotic plants. Lots of shady terraces with ample outdoor furniture and barbeque area.

Coast/Beach
Beach at Playa Honda, 5 mins drive. Fabulous sandy beach, with showers, restaurants etc. Super promenade providing a walk of some 8 miles if required along the seafront from Arrecife to Puerto del Carmen.
All major beaches at Puerto del Carmen, 5/10 mins drive away, and at Costa Teguise, 10/15 mins drive away. Nudist beaches at Papagayo, 25 mins drive.

Golf
Golf course about a 10 min drive at Costa Tequise.One new one proposed, one 5 mins drive away and the other 15 mins away. Perfect location for access to existing and proposed courses.Well maintained 18 hole courses in glorious volcanic lava setting with cactus, palms, exotic plants and mountain and sea views.

Special interest holidays
We have great deals with a local dive centre. Lanzarote is an amazing island for scuba diving and we are very centrally located here at Casa Kernow for all the best dive sites.

Travel
Arrecife airport 5 mins drive away. Car hire is recommended. We get great discounts on car hire for Casa Kernow guests.We will meet guests at the airport and arrange car hire for you at vastly discounted prices.

Distances
Everywhere on the island is within 45mins drive. Most large towns and centres of bars, entertainment etc about 5/10 mins away.

Further details
Fantastic restaurant just 5 mins walk away. Best supermarket 5 mins drive and all banks, shops etc easily accessible. Deiland shopping centre also 5 mins away with bowling alley, cinema, and masses of shops.

Booking notes
Booking accepted with £100 non-refundable deposit per week and balance due 10 weeks before holiday. Apartment will be held for 7 days to allow time to arrange flights.PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CHARGE THE SAME RATES ALL YEAR ROUND, ie NO EXTRA AT PEAK TIMES!!!

About the owner
We ( John and Ailsa) came to Lanzarote from Cornwall after enjoying several holidays here and after John had a quintuple heart bypass. The idea was to take life easier and pass on our experiences of the island to others. We have never regretted the move and love the ambience and beauty of Lanzarote. We renovated the property to it's present state and hope it offers everything guests would want on a holiday. John enjoys gardening, walking,and exploring the island. Ailsa's main passion is Scuba diving and as a Padi Divemaster is available to advise guests should they wish to try out the sport. We have made many friends since owning Casa Kernow and many of them come back year after year so we must be doing something right!!!

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
The area is perfect for access to any part of the island, being near to the capital, all the major resorts, and all the attractions created by Cesar Manrique. The golf courses are also very close and of course the wonderful beaches. You will be situated within short distances of anything you wish to do but at the same time enjoy the tranquility of the countryside away from the 'madding' crowd, and have a large pool which at the most is shared with only 3 other apartments ie not a pool on a vast complex.

There are large parking areas at Casa Kernow, ensuring you can park at any time by your accommodation and not having to walk miles to your vehicle. We also will arrange car hire for you at discounted prices and meet you at the airport at no extra cost. BUT, THE BIGGEST BENEFIT OF CASA KERNOW IS THAT WE CHARGE THE SAME ALL YEAR ROUND SO HALF TERMS AND SCHOOL HOLIDAYS ARE NOT PENALISED!!
