Outside
Villa Rosa is set on 2500sqm of Canarian style garden with pepper trees, palm trees, olive trees and various cactii. The 10x4m private swimming pool is heated all year round and set in a large terraced area adjacent to a 10x5m sand filled boules pitch. Pool changing room with wash basin and toilet.
Outside stairs lead to a roof terrace overlooking the village of La Oliva. From the roof terrace you can see the ancient church with its black stone 18th century bell tower and the recently restored House of Colonels with its 365 door and window openings.
There is a round hardwood dining set underneath a circular pergola with built-in BBQ, sunbeds, chairs and additional patio table. Under a further pergola is an electronic dart board.
Coast/Beach
El Cotillo for surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing, fishing. Flag Beach near Corralejo on the dunes is a favourite spot for wind and kite surfers with hire facilities on the beach.
Golf
Championship golf course in Caleta de Fuste (30 mins drive) and a new one in course of construction near Villaverde.
Travel
La Oliva is approx 30km from the airport. A car although not essential is recommended. Car hire is available at the airport.
Distances
Villa Rosa is about a 20 mins drive from Puerto del Rosario, the capital, where there is a newly opened shopping mall. To walk to the centre of La Oliva takes 10 mins. La Lajares and Villaverde are both 5 min by car.
Further details
La Oliva is an interesting former capital of the Island with its local museum, ancient church and House of Colonels. Nearest provisions can be purchased from the filling station mini-market 5 mins walk away. The centre of the village has small supermarkets, chemist, bakers, take-away, restaurants, bank and cash points, and post office. In Corralejo the leisure activities include windsurfing, surfing, scuba diving, fishing, quad biking.
Booking notes
A deposit of 20% is required on booking, by cheque or bank transfer with the balance to be paid 2 months prior to departure. For late bookings full payment is required to confirm the booking.

Our stay at your villa was nothing but calm, peaceful and totally relaxing. The children whose ages are 12, 8, 6, & 4 were well catered for and loved everything about the property. We would describe it as our dream home in Fuerteventura. Mr & Mrs E. Ireland Aug. 07
