Casa Felipe is a large three bedroomed house with spacious lounge and luxuriously fitted kitchen. This accommodation will comfortably sleep a large family or a group of friends (5+ people). Two bedrooms open out onto the balcony with stunning, uninterrupted views of the sea and mountains. The house is situated in a small street, close to all the village amenities, the beaches and the Club Laurel pool and restaurant. It is fortunate to be on one of the easier access roads (some areas are a challenging climb) and fronts onto the banana plantation.

Outside
There is a balcony shared by two bedrooms, with far-reaching views of the sea and coast.
The nearby The Club Laurel restaurant and pool is part of the Hotel Tecina. However, if you make use of the restaurant or bar, then you are allowed access to the picturesque salt-water pool area.
Coast/Beach
Beaches are 5 mins walk from the property. The beaches at Playa de Santiago, although a mixture of sand and pebble, are amongst the best on the island (other good beaches are at Valle Gran Rey and San Sebastian). The fishing harbour provides protection from the open ocean and therefore allows for safe swimming, even for children. The beautifully clean and clear waters make snorkelling an unimaginable delight as tropical coloured fish swim right into the shallow waters.
Golf
Tennis and Golf are available through the Hotel Tecina closeby.
Travel
To get to the island you can either fly to Tenerife South (TFS) and transfer to Gomera by fast-cat or ferry, or via Tenerife North for a following flight (35mins) into Gomera airport. If arriving via Gomera airport, the house is only a few minutes taxi ride (cars can be hired from the airport). The best and cheapest method is to fly to TFS, get a taxi to the port of Los Christianos and then get the Garajonay Express (small fast-cat) which will take you to the port of Playa de Santiago.
Distances
Local shops are 2 mins away; local restaurants 10 mins to 20 mins away. San Sebatian and Vale Gran Rey are 30 mins away by fast-cat. There are fantastic walks and small coves all around the area.
Further details
There are a good number of shops within the village itself, and many more in the capital of San Sebastian or Valle Gran Rey. San Sebastian also holds a small market on Wednesdays and Saturdays in the main square.
Two supermarkets have a large stock of all general items and allow you to shop at ease with trolleys or baskets, helping yourself to items from the shelves and fridges. There is a further small supermarket within the HPB (British) complex on the top of the cliff, near the airport.
There are two banks (with cash machines) and a post office. Stamps can either be bought at the post office, or at the supermarket at HPB. A further cash machine can also be found at the HPB complex at the supermarket.
The large range of restaurants and small bars are superb, serving local fish specialities and a wide choice of other dishes. All the food is excellent and each restaurant offers its own special dishes. There is also a Tapas Bar that provides excellent ‘take-aways’ for the beach or for hiking picnics.
