The apartment has the use of the 2 communual pools (one childrens), with free sunbeds (sun umbrellas are in the apartment for use at the pool, beach or on the patio.

Notes on prices
£250 per week for 2 people each extra person £25 per week. £100 deposit per week required at time of booking. £20 refundable deposit for keys also required.
Changeover day
Changeover day is Thursday but other days would be considered (Sundays would incur a £20 surcharge).

The apartment has its own private garden, table chairs and umbrella. The 2 swimming pools are shared with the rest of the complex. There is a car park to the front of the complex.
Coast/Beach
There is a sandy beach 3 - 5 mins walk away with all the shops, cafes and bars across the road.
Golf
There is an established golf course at Costa Tequise and a new course opened 2009 on the outskirts of Puerto del Carmen (5/10 mins away).
Travel
Arrecife airport is approx a 10 min taxi ride away (approx 15 euros).
Distances
Puerto del Carmen is one of the main holiday resorts on the island.
Booking notes
Can be made by telephone, email or through web site. £100 deposit made at time of booking remainder to be paid 8 weeks before departure when keys to the apartment will be sent to you. There is a £20 deposit for apartment keys which will be returned upon return of the keys.
Owner profile
About the owner
Our names are Pat McFee and Ian Hopkinson, we live in a small village just outside Inverness, Scotland with our two dogs. We are both widowed and now live together as a couple. Pat has a son and daughter and Ian has four sons all of whom are grown up and left home. We both took early retirement in 2010, Ian spends what time he can on the golf course and Pat enjoys the garden and does some voluntary work for the local hospice.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We fell in love with our apartment when we first saw it, when we walked in it felt like it was our second home straight away. The complex it is in is very well run and Miquel keeps the gardens and pool in tip top condition. Although the apartment is only a couple of minutes from the main tourist road (the Avenida) it is very quiet and peaceful - very good for people watching from the patio!!
Unique benefits of the property
The apartment is very close to all the amenities and is situated in the flattest part of Puerto del Carmen which means no long slog up a steep hill after a long day at the beach soaking up the sun.
