The villa was chosen because of it's unique position near to the Marina Rubicon the most exciting new development in the Canary Islands. This is the three bedroom version of the successful Marina View (www.rubiconvillas.com) The Marina provides close proximity to Yellow beaches, fine Restaurants and Playa Blanca town and even for people with young children and the elderly the walks are easy going both directions along the waterfront. The Villa has a large gardener’s garden with upstairs views of the Marina and Atlantic Ocean. This property has been furnished to the highest standard with a touch of contemporary style. You have choices to sunbathe or escape the sun as you wish.

Changeover day
Changeover is always Thursday. Departure is at 10:00 am and arrivals from 2:00 PM giving our team time to prepare for new guests.
| Bedrooms: | Master bedroom has a high quality double bed, fitted wardrobe, en-suite bathroom with Marina/ocean facing balcony with table and chairs. 2nd Bedroom has 2 single beds and fitted wardrobe and the third bedroom has similar and bathroom access. |
| Bathrooms: | En-suite bathroom in master bedroom and also a shared bathroom for bedroom 2/3 with bath and shower. Downstairs there is also a WC and shower. |
| Kitchen: | High quality kitchen with cooker, washing machine, microwave, sink and marble tops. Crockery, Cutlery, cookware all provided. Everything is new and to a high standard. |
| Utility Room: | Washing area and storage facility. |
| Living Rooms: | High quality furnishings with wicker 3-seater settee and 2-single chairs plus matching wicker dining table and chairs, designer lighting, Digital TV with many English channels, video and Hi Fi. |

Property is cleaned inside and out prior to arrival and during visits of longer than 1 week. Towels are changed within visit and sheets on two week visit. |

Notes on accommodation
Cot hire plus high chair package £25/week. Aluminium mountain bikes with disc brakes available from Marina View and Marina View 2 for £25 per week. Frame size to suit most adults. Save on your packing, beach towels are available at £7 for 2 high quality ones. Wi fi euro 25 per week Welcome pack, tea coffee etc free.
We have now built a conservatory on the non garden side of the villa which means you can leave bags for an agreed period if you have late flights to worry about. We do not allow smoking inside this villa.
Accessibility
Regarding access for people who struggle with mobility: The villa has toilets (sink and shower) downstairs and up and it is easy to freely move on the ground level but there are stairs to the bedrooms.
This villa is very popular because it is an easy walk to shops and restaurants for older people, buggies etc.
Outside
This villa has a large garden planted with lovely palm trees and plants. There is a solar heated private pool (with cover) which is excellent for the occasional dip. We have a large Charcoal BBQ, Outside Table chairs and loungers are all provided. Most important is the conservatory which means you do not get annoyed by the wind if you are eating.
Coast/Beach
The sea is less than 200 meters away at the Marina where you can enjoy outstanding views. For the nearest yellow beach, Dorada is 10 minutes walk and the world famous Papagayo Beaches just 5 minutes drive into the national park. It is possible to walk to Papagayo but it is not as convenient as Dorada Beach.
Golf
There is now a new pitch and put golf course 1000 meters from the villa and for a larger 18 hole course 15 minutes drive.
Special interest holidays
For people interested in Scuba or Sailing there is an excellent Scuba(www.rubicondiving.com) and Sailing school in the new Marina.
We now have mountain bikes if you like to get out and about for sight seeing or going to the shops.
Travel
Nearest Airport 20 minutes drive.
If you decide to get a hire car then this is possible from the airport. We get the keys whilst waiting for baggage. The drive to Playa Blanca is straight forward and direct.
Distances
Playa Blanca town is a 1.3km walk and 5 minutes drive. Most of the key sights within Lanzarote are within 40 minutes drive and some are truly spectacular.
Further details
Most of the banks are in Playa Blanca town but within the Marina there are Banking facilities, Supermarkets, Shops, Bars and Restaurants.
The Marina has it's own Scuba school and leisure boats for rent.

Following agreement of price send £100 per week to secure booking. (Address will be provided) Book your flights at this time if possible.
2 Calender months prior to holiday send balance due plus a second cheque for £100 which will be returned after break and is not banked.
We send you an information pack after this with maps and contact numbers.
Repeat bookers save £25 per week, 3 week bookers save £25 per week.

Marina View 2 is fantastic. Tastefully decorated and well equipped, this villa is only a short walk away from the lovely Marina Rubicon area of Playa Blanca. The pool and garden area are great and the cactus gave us a few giggles. The large BBQ is great for nights in and there are some lovely restaurants nearby. Phil and Dawn are a pleasure to deal with. Thank you. Overall a great holiday in a fantastic villa in a superb location.
We found Marina View 2 an excellent Villa which was clean and very spacious. The garden/pool area is very well kept and we enjoyed several nights staying around the pool and taking advantage of the large barbecue. The villa is a short walk to the actual marina where we found some lovely restaurants. Overall a villa and location highly recommended! 28 April 2010 by David, Birmingham.
It was 31 yrs since we were last in Lanzarote and so expected lots of changes, but pleased to say the island was still as lovely as we had remembered.

Dawn and I are professional people based in the South East of England and like many people like to travel, play sport and eat lovely food either home cooked or out in nice restaurants.
I love to walk pretty much every day or ride my bike and this year will be cycling to Paris for the British Legion and Dawn has a lovely horse called Majic which she rides 3 times a week.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We had a lovely holiday in 1993 in Playa Blanca and were very impressed with the Marina Rubicon development and Dorada beach that we decided to look at some 2 bed villas near to the Marina. We were very lucky as being one of the first applicants we were able to take advantage of the best location and best views with easily the best garden overlooking the marina. We had initially intended to use mainly for domestic use but the market took over and it has become arguably the most successful rented property in the marina zone. In 1996 because of this popularity we opened our second property a 3 bed and are enjoying yet more success. The formula of a great villa in a great location is the key to our success and we are pleased to offer a high quality product to our clients.

Whilst staying at marina you can expect only the highest standard. The villa is a great size is very well furnished and very well located. The support team is excellent are there in case of need. We have a very good quality response from pretty much everyone who visits the villa and many come back for more.
