Coast/Beach
The beach is at thirty seconds walk, we provide two bicycles for rides along the beach promenade, which can take you, in about one hour, North to Arrecife or South to Puerto del Carmen.
Golf
There is a golf course at 15 minutes drive.
Travel
The only airport is ARRECIFE, from where you can get a taxi to the bungalow (about 5 euros), or hire a car, it takes about 15 minutes by car.
Distances
The bungalow is in the town of Playa Honda, by the sea. Arrecife is the capital of Lanzarote and is about 20 minutes by car or 40 min if you cycle, There are many places to see here, Timanfaya Park is a volcanic park created in 1730 from the last volcanic eruption, it's the nearest to a lunar landscape you can get on Earth (Apollo 13 astronauts said so) and remains untouched by human hands, special bus tours takes you there.
Further details
There is a series of Megastores and shopping centers within walking distance where you can buy your favourite foods etc. Freshly baked bread and croissants are three minutes away as well as good gastronomic varieties. Exciting night-life downtown.
Booking notes
We adapt ourselves to the customers requirements and therefore you can come whenever you like, (animals not allowed).
You can pay by visa, bank transfer or cash. We would need 50% as a deposit to reserve the bungalow, the rest you can pay when you arrive. We would also ask you for a returnable security deposit of 100 Euros which would pay for possible breakages or missing items.

About the owner
I am retired now, I used to be a TV service engineer until it became cheaper to buy a new set! I enjoy sailing, fishing and anything related to the sea, I also enjoy motorcycling, as well as pottering about in my vegetable garden (papaya, avocados, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, guavas etc). Last year I motorcycled all the way to Shrewsbury where my daughter lives and the year before I rode the bike to Spain, France, UK and Switzerland (12000km).
Why the owner chose a home in this location
Playa Honda is ideal for a quiet relaxed holiday, having the beach next door makes it very enjoyable and if you like eating out, well there are plenty of restaurants along the promenade. But If you like night life, then Puerto del Carmen and Arrecife are not far, you can walk to them along the promenade or indeed ride the bicycles, we provide them free of charge.
Unique benefits of the property
We have a nice brick barbecue in the patio for you to use, try fresh sardines, you can buy them at the supermarket at Deilands, not far away.
