Notes on accommodation
The property has two patio windows off living area and wrought ironwork security grills giving plenty of fresh air in summer months with the added security of the metalwork doors. Room fans provided. Suitable for children and wheelchairs. Safe. Travel cot and high chair provided. Washing machine in outside utility room. The garden is planted with mature plants, agaves such as aloe vera and even has a lemon tree for guests' sundowner drinks. Wifi available at cost of 19 euros per week.

Good wheelchair access with access through large patio windows so can manoeuvre without difficulty.
Outside
Nice pretty pool area with dolphin statues each corner of the pool area. Covered heated Jacuzzi in corner of pool terrace. Built in BBQ. Border gardens on either side of villa. Roman steps down into private pool. Pool measures 8.7m plus the roman steps x 3.5m Depth: 1-1.4m. Sun loungers and sun lounger pads sufficient for 6 persons.
Coast/Beach
Callao Salvaje has a small natural cove with volcanic sand and pebble. A larger man made beach is only 10 mins drive by car to the Fanabe area of del Duque.
A new man made beach is being constructed at the moment in Callao Salvaje.
Golf
Nearest golf is Adeje course - 8 minutes by car in the directions of La Caleta. Also 8 minutes by car to Abama Golf Course in the opposite direction heading towards Playa San Juan. Tee times can be booked through individual websites
Special interest holidays
The new Siam Park is only within 10 mins drive of Callao Salvaje. If you like water parks this is the one to visit - has the world's largest wave machine, a beach and authentic architecture from Siam.
Travel
Tenerife South airport (Reina Sofia) is 25 minutes by car or taxi. Car hire is needed for exploring the island privately but not essential for the villa.
Distances
Callao Salvaje is well situated for visiting towns and villages around the south of Tenerife. Adeje town itself. Costa Adeje including Fanabe, Playa de Las Americas and La Caleta are only 10 mins drive away. So too is Los Cristianos. In the other direction there is Playa San Juan and Los Gigantes.
Further details
Callao Salvaje is purported to have the best weather on the island. Facing the island of La Gomera it gives a wonderful view of the sunset. There are three banks in the village and some very good restaurants on the ocean front. Also a good number of bars and supermarkets both opening until late and on Sundays. Activities which can be obtained locally are tennis, scuba diving, ab sailing, and there is a gymnasium.
Booking notes
20% deposit is required on booking and the balance two months before departure date. Can be paid in the UK or in euros in Tenerife. 30% dep. req. at really busy periods. Refundable damage bond will be requested in most instances.

About the owner
My partner and I have lived in Tenerife for over 20 years and love every minute of living in this lovely climate, particularly in Callao Salvaje which seems to have the best of the weather. We live near the villa and we try to meet and greet guests whenever possible, supplying a small welcome pack.
Living close to the accommodation we are at hand should any problems occur and can offer advice and assistance when necessary, particularly important if guests have not visited the island before.
Also we offer tickets for tours and excursions and can arrange car hire and airport transfers.
Our aim has always been to ensure guests have the best trouble free holiday possible.
Why the owner chose a home in this location
We decided to purchase in Callao Salvaje because of its reputation for having some of the best weather on the island. it was in a quiet village type location but only 10 mins drive from the busier resorts of Los Cristianos and playa de las Americas.
it is situated on the ocean and even in hot weather is fanned by the nice ocean light breezes.
Has everything in the resort - good restaurants and bars, sporting facilities. Good public transport services and taxi services
