These apartments are privately owned and fully equipped. The Penthouses are on the top (2nd) floor and have stunning views to the sea and volcano, especially from the roof terrace. The 3 Bedroom suite and poolside apartments are at ground level, but their child friendly terraces are raised for privacy and security. Unlike the majority of other apartments at Fairways, both types have a south facing balcony for all day sunbathing. Additionally the 2 bedroom penthouses have a terrace roof with more loungers. There should be no confusion between these and some other sparse, undistinguished properties offered locally. Fairways is a secure gated community with beautiful subtropical gardens and waterfalls.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds, apart from the suite which is as listed. Infants under 2 years stay free in the Suite. Substantial discounts for all stays in excess of 2 weeks for Suite and all apartments .

Changeover day
There is no specific changeover day and your stay need not be in multiples of weeks, so can be as many days as you wish

Accommodation
Penthouse Apartment (Sleeps 4/6 - 2 Bedrooms)
Most rooms have ceiling fans.
The lounge is light and airey and there is DVD, English satellite TV.
Kitchen has hob, oven, microwave, toaster, washing machine, iron etc.
There is a king size in the master bedroom and the room having French doors opening onto the balcony. Here there are table and chairs for alfresco dining.
The other bedroom has 2 moveable singles and both rooms have large cupboards.
The master bedroom is en suite and there is a separate bathroom for the second bedroom.

Penthouse Apartment (Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom)
This is much as the 2 bed apartment, but is probably the best positioned apartment at Fairways.
It has double aspect with one balcony overlooking pool, the other the gardens.
The bedroom is spacious with double bed.
This property was totally renovated in the autumn of 2007 and is immaculate throughout.
It is a non smoking apartment and for adults only.

Poolside Apartment (Sleeps 2/4. 1 Bedroom)
This apartment is fully equipped like those above and was totally renovated in June 2007. One new addition is a triple sized walk in shower.
It has a large south facing terrace for all day sun, which leads to the pool. Being raised it gives great privacy and security.
There are loungers for sun worshippers, but part is shaded from the sun for those with a fairer skin.

Air Conditioned Suite (Sleeps 6/8, 3 Bedrooms)
This spacious suite is a haven for self catering luxury.
The huge terrace - largest at Fairways gets uninterrupted summer sun from 8 in the morning to 9 at night. There are plenty of loungers and table/chairs for 'alfresco' dining.
There are 3 bedrooms, 1 twin, 1 double and 1 double with additional single, There is an extra single which can be requested for any of the rooms. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, each consisting of bath, loo, separate shower cubicle and of course a hairdryer-you can fight over the Jacuzzi! All bedrooms have TV/DVD player and separate air conditioning.
The large lounge has leather upholstery, TV/DVD, radio, CDs plus there are numerous DVDs & CDs and a mini library.
The modern kitchen has oven, microwave, ceramic hob, fridge, separate freezer, dish washer plus no end of domestic appliances.
For the energetic there is an iron and board - for the not so energetic there is a good value onsite laundry, which will do everything for you in a day.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment terraces are child friendly and Fairways is a gated community so very safe and secure. However purely for peace of mind, each apartment has an electronic safe. Fairways has a supervised children’s club with free activities and an outdoor play area equipped with safety flooring, climbing frame, swing, table football, ping pong and an occasional bouncy castle. Don’t worry if you are arriving out of hours as there is a 24 hour key service. Also all guests will receive a complimentary welcome pack consisting of tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, sweets, bread & butter. There will also be a bottle or two of wine to make sure your holiday gets off to a great start.

Outside
The heated swimming pool is by far the best in the area and has a full time professional lifeguard on duty at all times. In the centre is an island cafe bar or for the more lazy there is a waitress service straight to your sunbed. There are immaculate subtropical gardens with stream and waterfall flowing into a pond stocked with fish and turtles.

Coast/Beach
A few hundred metres away is the rugged Atlantic coast where beaches are predominately shingle. However soft volcanic sand is found a few miles down the coast to the west or golden sand to the east at Los Cristianos and Las Americas. A few mins walk along the coast is the new marina with more bars, restaurants, fishing, sailing, scuba etc. Further along the coastal walk is Los Abrigos, renowned for its many fresh seafood restaurants which surround its picturesque harbour.

Travel
The Amarilla Estate is situated on the Costa del Silencio about a 10 min (£10) taxi ride from the southern Renia Sofia airport. Fairways is perfectly situated midway between this airport and the more hectic tourist areas of Los Cristianos and Playa las Americas, both of which are about 15 mins away by car.

Distances
Siam Park - Europes largest Water park (opening Spring 2008)is a 10 minute drive and the awesome lunar landscape and volcano of mount Teide is only about an hours drive. More locally, the new Marina is a 5 minute walk or the protected Amarilla National Park is about 15 minute walk along the coast.

Further details
On site there is a quality restaurant, several bars, beauty saloon, hair dressing and hire car facilities. Adjacent is a good sized supermarket, a take away, more restaurants and a sports bar.

To book, just let me know your proposed dates and I freeze them at no charge, so you can book flights. Once confirmed I ask for a deposit and balance paid within 6 weeks of travel.

I have stayed in many 5* hotel suites around the world and this apartment is as good, if not better than most of them. Immaculately clean, very well furnished and of large size - I defy anyone not to be impressed with the standard of this apartment. Fairways complex also is excellent with a superb pool that is good as you could ever wish for. Smith family.
