Casa Alessi is a charming, detached villa with a private swimming pool and secluded garden, situated in the most exclusive area of Playa Blanca, about 2 miles from the town centre. Playa Blanca is known as 'the jewel in the crown' of Lanzarote, with its beautiful promenade, cafes and excellent sandy beaches. The Rubicon Marina is within easy walking distance and has a good selection of shops, open air restaurants and bars and the shopping centre in Las Coloradas also has a sports bar, coffee/snack shop and an excellent supermarket which not only sells groceries, but has a wide selection of fresh meat, fish, vegetables and fruit. There is a bus service between Las Coloradas into Playa Blanca and beyond to Faro Park and the lighthouse - it takes 15 minutes to get into Playa Blanca and it runs between 7.15am and 10.30pm.

Casa Alessi has a very private garden and attractive landscaped terrace area, solar-heated 6 x 3 metre swimming pool, barbecue, tables, chairs and sun-loungers.

Coast/Beach
Casa Alessi is within a 15-20 minute walk or a short drive from the famous Papagayo beaches. Many other beaches in Playa Blanca are within a 5 minute drive. Walking into Playa Blanca along the promenade takes approximately 45 minutes.
Travel
The villa is about half an hour's drive from Arrecife airport. We can recommend flight companies if necessary. There are always plenty of taxis at the airport if a car is not being hired, or we can arrange for transport to and from the airport with a British driver. To get the most from your holiday we recommend hiring a car, but it is not essential.

Casa Alessi is situated in the Las Coloradas region of Playa Blanca, with the mountains behind and the Papagayo beaches a short walk away. Las Coloradas is considered to be the most exclusive area of Playa Blanca.
The garden and terrace are very private, with views over the area and distant views to the island of Fuerteventura. There is a small supermarket nearby and an excellent restaurant. Further numerous restaurants and bars are to be found in Playa Blanca, along with many more beaches and shops.
We provide a guide book in the villa which tells you of the many excellent places to visit, most notably Cesar Manrique's house, which is a 'must see'. Cesar Manrique was Lanzarote's most famous artist, and he is responsible for ensuring that Lanzarote has not succumbed to the high rise buildings of the other islands. His influence can be seen everywhere on the island, and is one of the reasons why, in our opinion, Lanzarote stands head and shoulders above the other Canary Islands.

A deposit of £100 per week booked is required, with the balance due 8 weeks before your arrival.

"Stayed here mid October 2009. Lovely villa, with good use of space, inside and outside. Has everything you could need for your holiday. Pool is great to relax and chill in the sun. Perfect getaway for families or couples. Help available on hand nearby if there are any problems.
15 minute walk to Marina Rubicon, or a 5 minute drive into Playa Blanca. Lots of places to eat in Playa Blanca, especially Mama Rosa's and Sideria Arena both on the sea front near the Ferry Port where the service and quantity of food was very good.

Unique benefits of the property
Although approx 3km out of the centre of Playa Blanca itself, there are nearby shops,bars,and a supermarket which provide everything needed for a relaxing holiday. It is also close to the best beaches on the island at Papagayo. The villa is managed on my behalf by my brother and his wife and we provide a service second to none! Mike can provide you with a transport service to/from the airport cheaper than local taxis and if you are on a late arrival, Margaret will do shopping for you and have it in the villa for your arrival.
