The properties are on a small friendly complex situated on the sunny side of the vally with a relaxing communal pool where you can bask in sunshine all day long with sunbeds for your use. Located on the (lower level of the valley) of Puerto Rico. No steps or hills. These 1 bedroom apartments will sleep 2 -3 adults or 2 adul The complex is on just 3 levels with the swimming pool on the first level. They are situated between the beach and the centre and they are just a 5 minute walk to local amenities, beach, marinas, bars and restaurants. In such a great location our guests return year after year. No transport required for this location (these apartments are not at the top of the mountain so saving on taxis up and down the hillside) Not far from the centre but not too close for comfort to ruin a good nights sleep after a hard day sunbathing and an evenings enjoyment. Close by is a handy supermarket and public transport.

Changeover day
Changeover day is normally Mondays but please contact us for availability on other days we might be able to accommodate you. We also have 2 bedroom apartments and bungalows for familes which can be booked from anyday.
Apartment 3 - 7 (1 Bedroom, Sleeps 2/3)

The apartment has one bedroom with twin beds and fitted wardrobes. All sheets and bedding are included.
Modern furnished living room with TV, DVD. CD player and radio/cassette player and there is plenty of drawer space.
This leads onto a furnished balcony which overlooks the relaxing swimming pool where you will find sunbeds to relax on.
The modern fully fitted kitchen consists of everything required for a self catering holiday, kettle, toaster, iron/board, microwave, hob, fridge/freezer, pots, pans crockery, cutlery and glasses.
There is also a modern fully fitted bathroom with bath/shower, hairdryer and towels are supplied.

Notes on accommodation
Although there are not a lot of hills or steps these properties are not suitable for wheelchairs.
We cater personally for our own visitors and for your privacy and security no 3rd parties have keys to these properties, We are on 24 hour callout should you require our assistace in an emergency.
Accessibility
This location is suitable for elderly people. We don't cater for groups of under 25 but couples of any age are welcome.
Outside
There is a shared communal pool which is never too overcrowded as this is a private complex.
Coast/Beach
The golden sandy beach of Puerto Rico is set between 2 marinas where there are lots of excursions and is 5 minutes walk from the apartments. There is also another very nice beach 10 - 15 minutes walk from the apartment along a man made cliff edge path.
Golf
There are local golf courses, 10 minutes drive to either Tauro or Salobre 8 hole golf courses and 15 minutes to Maspalomas the biggest of the three 18 holes and the most established.

We can arrange beach fishing if required.
Travel
Las Palmas airport is 35 - 40 mins drive from Puerto Rico all motorway. We can arrange airport transfers at competitive rates.
Distances
The small fishing village of Arguineguin where the market is on Tuesday is 10 mins drive, also the villiage of Mogan where the market is on Fridays is 15 mins drive from Puerto Rico. The local buses and ferries are frequent and inexpensive. Great for a day. (Mogan is great for a day Very quiet villiage).
Further details
Puerto Rico is in the south of Gran Canaria sheltered from the prevailing winds. The only resort here on Gran Canaria with 2 beautiful marinas and a beautiful golden sandy beach where you will find many excursions and activities such as sport fishing for the Blue Marlin and tuna in season. Sailing, parascending, diving, jet skis, dolphin and whale search and many more activities.
Take a jeep safari to the beautiful lakes and mountains with its rich vedgitation & breathtaking scenery, or spend a great day at the water parks or other excursions such as Sioux city wild west shows, Palmitos Park a bird sanctuary or Mundo Aborigen a stone age museum settlement and many more.
Visit the markets and the duty free shops selling cut price perfume, tobacco, spirits and electrical goods at very good prices.
The nightlife here in Puerto Rico is for all ages discos, nightclubs, and bars with live music, quizzes and karaoke. If that isn't your scene take a stroll to the quieter sea front or marina bars and restaurants which cater for all tastes and nationalities at very reasonable prices.
