Fully furnished 2 bedroom apartment set in beautiful surroundings, overlooking the pool area. Suitable for couples, families and older people. Well equipped kitchen, utility room. Comfortable sunny lounge leading to the terrace. Spacious bedrooms and modern bathroom. Costa del Silencio is just a 15 minute taxi ride from the airport and is situated in the sunny south of Tenerife enjoying year-round sunshine. The area particularly appeals to those who wish to relax and escape the more crowded resorts. However the lively resorts of Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas is only 15 minutes drive away. There is good selection of bars, offering evening entertainment and an excellent choice of good quality restaurants. The picturesque fishing village of Las Gallatas is only a short walk away after 'siesta' it comes alive with resident and tourist alike enjoying the many shops and restaurants. The areas is popular with Scuba divers and surfing and of course sunbathing.

Changeover day
There is no preferred changeover day. We aim to be as flexible as possible in order to accommodate your requirements. The apartment should be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure, but can be extended if the apartment is not required for new guests.

24' x 13’ terrace with patio table and 6 chairs, 2 sun umbrellas. Sun loungers. Well maintained sub tropical gardens.
Three swimming pools one of which is ideal for small children, lifeguard on duty daily. Safe children's play ground with swings and slides. There is an all weather tennis court available for use. An underground parking space available, with remote controlled garage doors, if hiring a car.
Coast/Beach
The sea is only 5 minutes walk with good fishing from the rocks. The nearest beach is in the fishing village of Las Galletas which is approximately a 15 minute walk.
Golf
The apartment is close to 5 golf courses. Amarilla Bay and Golf del Sur are within 10-15 minutes drive. Los Palos is a 9 hole course which is only 5 minutes away. Las Americas and Adeje which host major championships are 20-25 mins from the apartment. Our local British contact in Silencio including pick-up and drop-off.
Travel
The nearest airport is Tenerife South (Reina Sofia), approx. 15 mins drive. Reliable local British contact available for transfers. Car hire is available from the rental shops within Silencio and is cheap.
Excursions can be booked from the tourist booths or Club Marina complex which is opposite Atlantico.
Buses run approx. every 30 mins to the larger towns of Los Cristianos and Las Americas. Taxis are also very reasonable and safe.
Distances
Las Galletas is only a 5 min drive or 15 min walk and has excellent restaurants on the beachfront. Los Cristianos and Las Americas are approx 15/20 mins drive away and provide a larger variety of shops, bars and restraurants.
Further details
Guests are welcome to use the facilities at Club Marina, which is opposite Atlantico. Light entertainment is provided in the evening and activities are held during the daytime. You may also use the facilities at Westhaven Bay, approximately a 5 minute walk away, adjacent to Hermusa Supermarket. They serve daytime snacks and have an excellent evening menu. There are a variety of restaurants all within a short walking distance. There are a variety of supermarkets close by and a shopping area called El Chaparral. Cash machines available on the main stretch of Silencio and in Las Galletas aswell as a number of banks and exchange facilities. There are many places of interest and activities in Tenerife. Mount Teide is the highest mountain in the Canaries and is a live volcano. Loro Parque is a superb park in Puerto de la Cruz. The Aqua Park is in Las Americas. Markets are held in Los Cristianos (Sunday) and Las Americas (Thursday and Saturday), and in numerous other areas, please see our brochure for details. Boating trips to see whales and dolphins are also available as are visits to the island of La Gomera and the village of Los Gigantes. Snorkelling and Scuba Diving is also available. Why not try a Medieval night in San Miguel? You can pick up a touring brochure at most shops to make your choice.
Booking notes
A 10% booking fee is payable by cheque within 7 days of reservation of the apartment. Balance is payable 6 weeks prior to departure date. Keys to the apartment and information leaflet will be sent at least 2 weeks prior to your departure date. We can arrange for you to be met at the airport and taken direct to you accommodation, please ask at the time of booking. If you require assistance booking your flight, we will be only too pleased to assist you.
