Casa Maritima is siuated in the heart of the lovely new Marina Rubicon, with its selection of restaurants, shops bars and sports facilities. Playa Blanca town and its golden beaches are only a pleasant 15-minute stroll away, along the pedestrianised coastal path (the longest in Europe at over 10km). The natural sand beaches of Papagayo are a 20-minute walk. A hire car is not necessary as all facilities, including a supermarket and bank, are close by. Casa Maritima is only a 20-minute taxi ride from the airport, and a taxi rank for return is next to the Marina.

Notes on accommodation
No smoking in the Villa please!
Outside
Private pool approx 4m x 2m with roll up cover. There is a patio with table and 4 chairs, also 4 loungers are provided. Upstairs balcony has a table and 2 chairs. There is a small, well-stocked garden and a barbeque. We have an off-road parking space for a car.
Coast/Beach
Papagyo beaches (nature reserve): 30-minute walk.
Dorada Beach (white sand with sun lounger and umbrella hire) 15-minute walk.
Golf
A 9-hole golf course is attached to the Dorada Hotel, 15-minutes walk from Casa Maritima, and is open to the public. There is mini-golf in the Marina.
Travel
Arrecife (Lanzarote) airport is a 20-minute taxi ride to Casa Maritima.
Distances
We are situated right in the heart of the Marina and it is not necessary to drive or cross any main roads to be in the centre of all the amenities which the Marina has to offer. Playa Blanca town is a 1km/20-minute walk along the coastal pedestrian path or a 5-minute drive from Casa Maritima. Timanfaya Nature Reserve (volcano trip) is a 10-minute drive. The famous caves of Lanzarote are a 45-minute drive up the coast.
Further details
Marina Rubicon offers a wide range of water-based sports activities, including glass-bottomed boat trips around the coastline, yacht hire, scuba-diving and snorkeling. The Marina holds a market every Wednesday and Saturday. Many art galleries are based within the Marina. Restaurants offer Spanish, Italian, Tapas, Chinese, Tex-Mex and other cuisine. There are 2 on-site supermarkets, bowling alley, mini golf, car hire, bank and cashpoints. There is also a large swimming pool with loungers and sun shades which is available to the public for a small charge.
Booking notes
A 25% deposit is charged to secure the booking and the balance is due 6 weeks from departure date. A £100 returnable deposit is required in addition to the balance to cover breakages.
