Villa Yaiza is a 4 bedroom and 2 bathroom detached property situated on Fuerteventura's Championship golf course near to the superb resort of Caleta de Fuste. Set-up as a ‘home from home’ the villa is fully equipped and is furnished to a high standard. It has 2 private heated pools (extra cost for heating ) (1 especially for smaller children) in a fully landscaped garden, sun-bathing areas and a large roof terrace with views over the golf course and out to sea. The villa is a 15 minute drive from the airport and is close to excellent beaches and amenities including many varied and high quality restaurants and bars. We have recently installed a full air-conditioning system, which is available for an extra charge.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds excluding pool heating and air-conditioning, which will incur an additional charge (£100 and £150 per week respectively). Children of 5 years and under stay for free but count towards the 8 people maximum. Discounts will be considered for lets of longer than 2-weeks.
Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible but is usually Wednesday or Saturday. We normally require that the villa is vacated by 10am on the date of departure but we are flexible if there is no new occupant on the same day.

| Kitchen: | The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Plentiful crockery, cutlery, glasses, plastic cups for children etc. |
| Utility Room: | Washing-machine, iron, ironing board. Large wheelie-bin (please use bags provided and with best standards of hygiene in mind, empty regularly). |
| Living Rooms: | Large lounge/diner living space. Two sofas (not sofa beds). TV, DVD, satellite TV (some channels; not all are available), stereo system. Don't forget to bring your CD's and DVD's! |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
A high-quality maid service is provided once a week, which includes a change of all bed linen and towels. More often can be arranged at additional cost. We ask that you provide your own beach towels for use around the pool and at the beach. |
Notes on accommodation
The villa is owned by a family with young children and, as a consequence, is particularly suitable for youngsters. A cot and highchair are provided to clients, if required, as a matter of course at no extra cost. Safety features, such as electric-socket guards are in evidence. We strongly recommend that youngsters are accompanied at all times when in the vicinity of the pools.

Outside
The villa has 2 pools; a larger 8 x 4m classic Roman steps style pool and a smaller kidney bean pool for children. Both the pools are heated (extra). The garden is fully landscaped and maintained to a high standard. The pergola area is covered and has alfresco dining facilities under. There are plentiful sun-loungers. A BBQ is provided (tools are stored in the kitchen). We ask that if you use it then please clean it! The roof terrace provides additional space for sun-bathing, just a little bit closer.
Coast/Beach
There are a number of excellent beaches in Caleta de Fuste. These are particularly suitable for children, with clean sand and a gently-shelving entry to the sea (as well as toilet facilities and restaurants and bars in the local vicinity). The beaches are protected by man made breakers and are not susceptible to the high energy / red-flag waves in the north of the island (Corralejo). The beaches are a 15 -20 minute walk from the villa (or a 2 - 3 minute drive).
Golf
The first tee of the Championship golf course is a short 200m walk from the villa. The course is superbly maintained and is an excellent challenge with sea breezes and water features adding to the degree of difficulty. Golf clubs can be hired if you prefer to travel to the island without your own. The neighbouring golf course is now open and is less than a 3 minute drive from the villa. A further course will be fully open in 2008.
Travel
The villa is a 15 - 20 min drive from the airport (taxis are plentiful at the airport). We recommend that visitors hire a car (we always do!) simply because the island has a lot to offer and it is the best way to see it. There is quite a lot of choice at the airport.
Distances
Approx times to places of interest (all driving times): Caleta de Fuste harbour(dive centre, water sports) 5 mins, Puerto del Rosario (shopping), 15 - 20 mins, Corralejo (water-park) 35 - 40 mins, La Oliva (beach) 30 - 35 mins, La Lajita (botanical garden / zoo) 30 mins.
Further details
The local shopping centre is at the entrance to the golf course and is called the Atlantico Centre. This has a large supermarket (Spar) and many smaller boutique style stores. There are also a number of restaurants and bars (including fast-food outlets such as Burger-King and Boccatta). In Caleta de Fuste itself there are a choice of smaller supermarkets and many high quality restaurants and bars. If you are in real need of "retail therapy" there is a brand new shopping mall in Puerto del Rosario.
Booking notes
We require a non refundable deposit of £200 per week, payable at the time of booking. The remainder is payable 6-weeks before your travel date.
Please note we do not accept responsibility for loss, injury or accident whether personal or otherwise suffered by you or your party whilst staying at our villa. We recommend that you take out adequate holiday insurance before travelling to the island.
