A four bedroom, semi-detached house with private swimming pool and hot tub. Casa Miramar is within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants, 12 minutes walk to the beach and just a few minutes drive away from the Fuerteventura Golf Club. The property, which stands in an elevated position and benefits from panoramic sea views, is on two levels, connected by an external (covered) staircase. There are two, large patios, one on the lower level at the back of the house, overlooking the swimming pool, and the other at ground floor level at the front of the house, where the hot tub is situated. There is also a roof-top terrace with panoramic sea views. We now provide beach towels for the use of guests. Guests are requested not to smoke inside the house but are welcome to do so on the patio areas.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Electric pool heating, if required, costs £30 per week. We have adjusted our prices for most dates up to the 13th March to take account of the fact that some building work is taking place near the property (see "Guests Comments" below).
Changeover day
Most UK flights to Fuerteventura are on Wednesdays and Saturdays so that these are our normal changeover days. However, other changeover days may be possible. Please ask.

Cleaning/towels/

The villa is cleaned weekly (including changes of bed linen). A double set of towels are provided at the beginning of each week so that guests can change towels as required. Beach towels are now also provided. |
Notes on accommodation
5 mins drive to the 18-hole golf course which recently hosted the Spanish Open. Another course is in course of construction next to it, so Caleta will shortly boast 2 golf courses!

Outside
An attractive feature of the house is the terraces and Canarian-style gardens. The swimming pool, with pool-side shower, is accessed from the lounge and is approximately 6.28m (20'7") long, 3.10m (10'2") wide with a single depth of 1.36 metres (4'5"). Electric pool heating is available at an additional cost. There is a spacious poolside sunbathing terrace with sunloungers, built-in barbecue and table and chairs. There is also the added convenience of an outside fridge. The front of the villa catches the late afternoon and evening sun and, to take maximum benefit of this, there is a further, large terrace. The 5 person jacuzzi is located here together with a further built-in BBQ, wooden dining table and seating for up to 8. What better way to end your day than with a relaxing jacuzzi followed by a leisurely BBQ?
Coast/Beach
It is a 12 mins walk to the beach. The gently shelving beach and calm, shallow waters of the bay make this a popular choice with families. Water sports enthusiasts are also well catered for and facilities include windsurfing, scuba-diving and sailing.
Travel
The situation of Caleta de Fuste, 8km (5 miles) south of the airport, makes the resort susceptible to some aircraft noise during the day (there is no night-time flying).
Distances
Shops, supermarkets and restaurants are within 2-10 mins walking time. Car hire is not essential at this location.
Further details
Caleta de Fuste, also known as El Castillo, is a modern, purpose-built resort with shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. The main shopping area is traffic-free and here you will find boutiques and gift shops as well as bars and restaurants. There is a wide variety of places to eat and most tastes are catered for. The resort is well maintained with nicely planted public areas which are kept litter-free.
Booking notes
A deposit of 20% of the accommodation cost is payable at the time of booking. The balance is payable 9 weeks before departure. Please note that cancellation charges apply.
