Recently refurbished to a high specification the accommodation offers 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two single beds. Both have fans. There is a brand new, fully fitted kitchen. There is a TV and DVD player with hundreds of films and Disney cartoons. Outside there is space for sunbathing and also a pergola offering shade if it gets too hot! On the complex there are two heated pools with loungers and parasols provided.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds.
All prices are per week regardless of number of guests. Prices are fixed and don't vary for half term, Easter etc, (no hidden costs). We are currently taking bookings for 2010.
Changeover day
Changeover day preferably Thursday but we are flexible. Contact for availability.
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with two single beds. There is a travel cot provided free of charge. We also provide free of charge a highchair, hand-held food blender and an Avent bottle sterilizer, (bottles not included). |
| Bathrooms: | Bathroom with walk in shower, wc, mirror with shaving point and towel storage. There is also a baby bath provided. |
| Kitchen: | Electric oven, gas hob, family size fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, iron/ironing board, kettle and toaster. Plastic plates/beakers/bowls and cutlery are provided for use by infants. |
| Living Rooms: | In the lounge there is a TV and DVD Player with hundreds of films and Disney cartoons. There is a bookshelf packed with a vast cross section of books that would suit the whole family. |
| Other: | Outside there is seating under a pergola for al fresco dining and the use of a barbeque. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Bedlinen, bath and hand towels are provided. They will be replaced after one week and the accommodation cleaned. |

There are three portable fans provided free of charge. There is also a safe on the premises. We operate a no-smoking policy inside the building but ash trays are provided for outside.

Accessibility
The property has not been adapted for people with mobility problems however there are no steps in the property or indeed on the complex itself. The bathroom does not have a bath it has a fully tiled walk-in shower with anti-slip base tiles. There is ample parking space provided on the complex a matter of metres from the accommodation.
Outside
Gardens to front and rear. A shaded pergola with seating under for dining. A barbeque and coolbox are provided. There are Two heated pools, one a paddling pool for infants. The pools are shared and provide free sun loungers and parasols. For parents with toddlers it may be worth noting that the pools are not accessable from the accommodation directly, there are two gates between that can only be unlocked with the key provided.
Coast/Beach
The popular Playa Grande beach is found just a 5 minute walk away. On this beach there are cafe's for refreshments, freshwater showers and toilets. Sunbeds and parasols are available for hire as well as pedlo's. The beach itself is well maintained and cleaned regularly. For people with children it's worth mentioning that there is a shallow drop off into the sea giving plenty of room to play before the water gets too deep. Also the beach is patroled with life guards.
Travel
The resort of Puerto del Carmen is situated a short taxi journey from the airport in Arrecife costing about 12 Euro's, (approx £8). Due to the central location of the accommodation car hire is not required but if you intend to explore the island there are many car hire companies to choose from.
Distances
If you choose to hire a car then the beautiful beach of Papagayo and the quaint harbour of Puerto Calero are found 20-30 mins south of Puerto del Carmen, whilst the market town of Costa Teguise is found 20 mins to the north.
Further details
The 'old town' is a 10 minute stroll away offering a fantastic selection of water front bars and restaurants. There are live music bars and traditional Spanish taverns. There are a number of convenience stores nearby for your papers, fresh bread and a delicious selection of meats if you intend to barbecue.
Booking notes
£100 secures the booking which also acts as your retainer. The full balance to be paid four weeks prior to the departure date. The £100 retainer will be returned by 1st class post on receipt of the accommodation keys and after our housekeeper has inspected the property.
Payments can be made by personal cheque, paypal or direct into our account via the internet.
Guest comments
A real home from home! We relaxed the moment we arrived at Casa Kiruba. The location was perfect, just 10 mins from the airport in a taxi. The accommodation was divine, lots of room and storage and everything within the property was immaculate but inviting to use - it felt like our own holiday home!
The facilities were superb, excellant privacy and security on the complex. The pool was beautiful and very private.
The town centre was as near or as far as you wished it to be - you could walk for a meal or to the beach within 10 minutes or you could go to the local spar and BBQ as we did! (there is also a local fishmonger). We had a wonderfully relaxing week (and we took 2 small children).
We are recommending Casa Kiruba to friends and family and will be booking again ourselves - thank you, we loved it!
