The villa consists of a larger and a smaller property which are 2 detached properties next to each other in the same grounds connected by a footpath within the garden. The villa is located in a prime residential area situated in an elevated position approximately 15 minutes walk from the Playa Flamingo beach, where there are a variety of shops and restaurants. There is also a supermarket nearby. This is a unique opportunity to stay in a lovely home with a private pool and unrivalled views over Playa Blanca, Los Lobos and Fuerteventura. Thus this is an ideal location for a large party of family/friends taking a holiday together. Guests can really benefit from the outdoor life here as there are extensive terrace areas and a large covered terrace, so that the outdoors can be enjoyed at all times of the year. There is a large permanent table under the terrace roof which will seat approximately 20 people and a kitchen door close by, giving easy access to the kitchen when dining outside.

About the owner
We are Paul and Christine Collins and we live in Poole, Dorset with our 2 teenage daughters.We have been taking them to Playa Blanca since they were born so we know a little about taking a family on holiday there. We love holidays and have been to many parts of the world but Lanzarote has a unique charm which we haven't found anywhere else.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We bought our first property in 1987 as we wanted a holiday location that we could visit all year round without worrying about the weather as it is generally hot in the summer and warm in the winter. We feel at home here as the area has a relaxed easy atmosphere and we start enjoying our holiday the minute we arrive. We also feel safe and comfortable with our daughters as there is a good mix of families and couples and different nationalities. We fell in love with this propety when it was owned by our freinds who lived there and we spent many happy hours on their terrace. When they wanted to move elsewhere on the island we decided to buy it and then we subsequently did many renovations and a total refurbishment. We still love it, it is our favourite place to be.
Unique benefits of the property
This is a most unusual property as it consits of 2 buildings within the same garden but built in such a way that neither encroaches on the other and guests in either one can't be seen by guests in the other but there is a short footpath in the garden linking the 2 together.
The property is cared for by a superb team who help us to keep it in tip top condition and give a personal sevice. It has satellite TV, DVD & CD players, washing machine and many other extra fascilties not normaly found in a rented villa. The setting is very tranquil but convenient for local fascilities. We also provide a local map, and suggestions for restuarants etc before you go plus lots of other useful information.
