This apartment is situated on Amarilla Bay, a residential complex with its own swimming pool, bar and mini market. Located in a tranquil corner of Costa del Silencio yet it is a short drive to all the golf courses, the beaches and nightlife of Los Christianos and Playa las Americas. The area is also very popular with walkers and divers. Restaurants and supermarkets are a short walk away, all on the flat. The apartment boasts uninterrupted views of the sea and mountains and on a clear day Gran Canaria can be seen in the distance. The lounge-dining area opens into a fully fitted and well equipped kitchen, a bathroom and one bedroom with double bed and fitted wardrobes.

The property is prepared prior to each guests' arrival. Bed linen, towels and tea towels (except beach towels) are provided. Additional cleaning can be arranged at an extra cost for longer stays. Please advise when booking if this is required. |

There are 6 small steps down to the property from the car park.
Outside
There is a balcony area accessed from the lounge which looks out over the sea and mountains. The balcony comprises of a large circular table and reclining chairs with cushions, there is also an awning which can be pulled out to provide shade. The private swimming pool area has sun loungers and there are two Petanque courts on the complex.
Coast/Beach
The sea is only 50 metres away with good fishing from the rocks. The nearest beach, Las Galletas is approx. 20 mins walk away or 10 mins by car. In Las Galletas, you will also find at least four PADI scuba diving centres which are amongst the best in Tenerife.
Travel
There are taxis at reasonable prices to and from the airport, there are also several car hire companies situated at the airport.
For excursions - a folder is provided in the apartment with various boat, coach and jeep excursions. Also there is a very good and regular TITSA bus service which goes all around the island and is economical to use. Buses are 15 min walk from the complex on the Avenue Jose Antonio Tavio across the road from El Chapperal.
Distances
The village of Las Galletas is just a 5 min drive or walk it in 15 mins for excellent fish restaurants along the beach front. Daily caught fish can also be bought along the beach front from the fishermen. Los Christianos and Playa de las Americas are approx. 15-20 mins drive away providing a larger variety of shops and restaurants.
Further details
Various places of interest in Tenerife include Mount Teide, at the top of which is the unbelievable Las Cañadas national park with its moon-like landscape. There are numerous coach tours available to such towns as Santa Cruz and Puerto de la Cruz. Boating excursions to the island of La Gomera and to the famous cliffs of Los Gigantes.

A booking deposit of £100 is payable at the time of reserving the apartment of which £50 (returnable) is held against any damage - wear and tear and any accidents with glasses/china etc. are to be expected. The balance due is payable 8 weeks prior to departure date. Change over days are flexible.
