Prices are based on 4 people sharing the property per week in UK Pounds. Each additional person is charged at a rate of £25 per week. Children under 2 years are free. 20% discount for any bookings made within 7 days of departure. No extra charge for pool heating, 1st November to 1st April.

Notes on accommodation
All rooms have satellite TV installed. There is a large flat screen TV in the lounge and a 14’ portable TV & DVD which can be moved into any of the bedrooms. 2 full sets of Golf clubs are available for the use of guests (free of charge). There is a high chair available (free of charge). A cot/bed, with mattress sheet can be hired for £15 per week. Large selection of books, games and DVD's for guests use. If you have friends that are traveling with you and want to occupy a seperate villa, please send let us know, as we have friends next door with a 4 bed villa.

Outside
8x4m private heated pool, with stepped down access,1.1meters at the shallow end and1.5 metres at the deep end, for which heating is free between the 1st November and 1st April. Outside these months, the pool heating is available at a cost of £45 per week.The pool is cleaned and treated twice weekly by a professional pool cleaner. There are also poolside shower facilities.
The patio has 6 Sun loungers. patio table and chairs (seats 6) Large private sun terrace. Beautiful maintained landscaped gardens. Barbeque area. Washing lines at rear.
Coast/Beach
The villa is a short distance from the safe and sandy beaches of Caleta. The closest beach to the property is ideal for sunbathing and swimming in the gently shelving sea. In the town of Caleta a variety of water sports are available for the more active holiday maker. A free coach service runs on the hour from the Golf course to the shopping centre & then onto Caleta town.
Golf
The villa is situated on the 5 Star Fuerteventura Golf complex, home of the 2004 Spanish Open and is only a 2 minute walk to the first tee. The newly opened (2007) Las Salinas course is situated just next door. 18 holes of golf is around 60 Euros, 9 holes 30 Euros. Trolley/buggy hire is available at both courses. There is a driving range (3 Euros for a basket of balls). A video lesson is available from the resident PGA professional for 25 euros. Two half sets of golf clubs are available for guests use (free of charge). An additional Golf course has been opened (2008) in the South of the Island, and a 9 hole course opened in the North in 2009. Both these courses are only a 40 minute drive away.
Travel
10 mins drive from the airport, which costs approx 12 euros in a taxi. Alternatively, a collection service can be arranged by the owners at a cost of 30 euros return.
Distances
The villa is centrally located, allowing easy access to both the North and South of the island. Both have fantastic sandy beaches with the North offering a water park and South housing the islands Zoo. The capital of Rosario has a newly opened shopping mall with all the designer shops,which is only a 20 mins drive away.
Further details
The Atlantico shopping centre is only 2 mins drive/15 mins walk away (Free coach from Golf Hotel) This centre is home to a hypermarket, multi-screen cinema, bowling alley and a variety restaurants, shops and boutiques. In addition to this, you can relax on the lovely beach which is situated just in from of the complex... or stroll along the promenade to the centre of the family resort of Caleta.
Booking notes
20% deposit required to secure a booking with balance due 6 weeks prior to departure. A refundable breakage deposit of £150 or 200 Euros is required at the time of the payment of the balance. If all is well, a cheque will be returned within 15 days of departure of the villa. Small breakages ie. glasses are expected and will not affect the return of the deposit.
You are strongly advised to have adequate travel insurance in place, as no liabilties can be accepted by the owners.

About the owner
Graham and I started coming to Fuerteventura in 2001. It was by chance that we bumped into a friend who was buying a small one bedroom apartment. After showing us around her purchase it did not take much persuasion for us to follow in her footsteps. After 3 years use of the Apartment and the love for the area, we decided to take take the plunge and purchase "Villa Sol" that we now own on El Vergel. As we only get to use the villa about 3/4 times per year we decided that we should rent the property out to help us pay the Mortgage. The villa is furnished to our own taste and standards, so all the comforts of home are available at the villa.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
The Golf Course Complex offers peace and tranquility, enabling you to relax, yet only 15 minutes walk away is the Atlantico Centre, with Bars, Shops/Supermarket and Restaurants. There is also now a lovely man made beach infront of the Centre which offers safe bathing for both adults and children.
Unique benefits of the property
Villa Sol is secluded on all 4 sides offering complete privacy. You can go onto the roof terrace and sunbath in private, whilst enjoying the views accross the Golf Course and the Sea.
You have the added advantage of the heated pool if required.
The villa is situated only a one minute walk from the Elba Palace Hotel and Fuerteventura Golf Course. If you decide not to hire a car for your stay, you have the added bonus of the use of the hourly courtesy bus which runs from the Hotel to the Atlantico Centre and then on into Caleta Town Centre if required.
