Sleeps 4/6, two bedroom two bathroom villa centrally located (on the flat) less than 150m from the strip/sea/shops/restaurants etc. Set in landscaped gardens and overlooking the heated swimming pools and tropical gardens. The two large terraces are suntraps which share the sun throughout the day with comfortable sun loungers and shaded dining areas to take advantage of the sun for private sunbathing, dining/barbecuing or just having a relaxing drink outdoors.

Notes on prices
SPECIAL OFFER:15th Dec - 22nd Dec was £500 now £350 save £150 for 2. Villa is rented with a Thursday changeover day. Arrivals or Departures on any other day can sometimes be accommodated on last minute bookings but will be subject to a surcharge (please check with owner regarding applicable surcharge). Confirmation of booking will be sent by email on receipt of the deposit cheque. A non refundable deposit of £200 per week is required. The balance is due three months prior to the arrival date.
Changeover day
Thursday only. The availability calendar shows confirmed guest bookings. We may have enquiries pending and can confirm availability immediately by email. Villa available from 3pm on arrival day vacate by 11am on departure day to facilitate cleaning.

Accessibility
Villa Mar is completely on the flat (with no steps or stairs) to deal with makes it very suitable for disabled persons, wheelchair users, the elderly or very young guests. The bathroom and showerroom have had grip rails and a fold down shower seat installed to make them user friendly.
Outside
Front garden terrace is equipped with a shaded section, table, six chairs and a large barbeque and 2 sun loungers.
Pool view terrace is equipped with a shaded area with a large table, six chairs and two sun loungers. There is a second table and chairs in this terrace if you wish to dine or drink in the sun.
There are two heated pools, one a paddling for children. The pools are shared and provide ample free sun loungers and parasols.
Coast/Beach
You have the choice of either of the towns 2 main beaches the beautiful sandy beaches of Playa Grande and Los Pocillos are only 5 mins walk from the complex (in opposite directions) whilst there is a beautiful smaller quiet beach 1 mins walk from the villa located at the end of our road.
Golf
There are 2 golf courses on Lanzarote. The first is " Golf de Costa Teguise", it is an 18 hole par 72 course and is 15 minutes drive from Puerto del Carmen. It is situated at the base of Tahiche's long extinct volcano and is surrounded by 3000 palm trees and various other examples of the islands unusual flora. The course was opened in 1978 and the facilities include a golf academy, pro shop, club and buggy hire, restaurant and cafe.
There is also a brand new golf course in Puerto del Carmen, it is a 1 minute drive (or a 15 minute walk!) from this property and has received rave reviews from those that have already played there. This newly opened course is in terrific condition, the views are great and you can hire clubs, buggies etc.and enjoy a relaxing drink in the clubhouse afterwards.
Travel
5/10 mins by taxi from Arrecife airport and around 12 Euros. Car hire is not required as the villa is very centrally located at the beach end of a side street located off the main street Avenida de las Playas. However should you decide to explore this lovely island further car hire can be found from around 20 Euros per day. Our Complex Manager has arranged discounted rates with tho Local Car Hire Company for owners and guests of our complex. Free off street car parking all around our complex.
Distances
The villa has a premium location due to its proximity to the amenities of Peurto del Carmen. The seafront/strip with its numerous restaurants, bars, shops and the main street of Avienda de las Playas are within a 1 minutes walk. The Airport is about 7 minutes by taxi.
Further details
There is regular entertainment and dancing at the San Antonino Hotel 200 yards away. The resorts biggest and most reasonably price supermarket Spar which has it's own bakery, delicatessen, butchery and off license is located less than a 1 minute walk at the end of our road.

We had a terrific holiday at your villa. The villa is gorgeous and both the inside and outside of the villa was so spacious that our extended family of 6 never felt cramped as we have done on previous holidays. Villa Mar has the best location as we could walk everywhere in the resort. Our kids could go on their own to the shop at the end of the road every day and our elderly parents could walk to wherever they needed to go.
