Within a privately owned quiet block offering 24-hour English speaking reception. On arrival apartment has beer, water, soft drinks, milk, bread and basic larder requirements. Bathroom with loo rolls, loads of beach, bath and hand towels, washing machine, ironing board, iron. Satellite TV. Plenty of bed linen. Coat hangers, travel adaptors. Balcony fitted with canopy, table and chairs, loungers, umbrella and clothes airer. The apartment is clean, comfortable and relaxing. We welcome respectful users. Local bus service is within 2 mins walk and taxis which are very reasonable can be booked at reception. Squash courts, telephone and foreign exchange facility can be found at reception. Only 5 mins walk from the award winning beach of Playa de la Arena where you can relax or do water sports. Plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and a tourist information center. Puerto Santiago and Los Gigantes also offer shops, restaurants and bars.

Changeover day
Changeover day is generally a Friday but other days will be considered depending on availability. Departure time is 12 noon and arrival time is 4pm but again this is flexible. depending on availability.

Notes on accommodation
The complex has a reception open from 8 am till midnight where you can change money, book excursions and book taxis. From midnight till 8am a security guard is on duty. 2 squash courts (pay for use). The apartment is suitable for couples and families as the resort is quiet and the apartment is within easy access of beach, shops and local transport.

Outside
Large terrace with 2 sun loungers, patio furniture (table and chairs), sun umbrella and sun blind. Community swimming pool with children’s area, ample sunbathing areas. Sun beds at pool area.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is Playa de la Arena and is approx 5 - 10 mins walk. It has been awarded the blue flag for cleanliness for the last 5 years. Sun beds and umbrellas available at a cost. Also toilets, showers and changing rooms available. The Los Gigantes beach is approx 15 mins walk. It has the same facilities but is smaller although probably more suitable for small children.
Golf
The nearest golf course is approx 15 mins away by car. It is a new course (opened approx Sept 2005) and hosted the Spanish open that year. It is situated in a luxury hotel complex called Abama. Comprising of three 9 hole courses (2 always open).
Travel
The nearest airport is Tenerife South (Riena Sofia) and is approx 40km. A taxi would cost approx 40 euros and will take up to 4 people. Car hire is not essential.
Distances
The apartment is situated in the village of Puerto Santiago. Los Gigantes is approx 15 mins walk where you can go on boat trips to see the whales and dolphins and in the other direction Playa de la Arena approx 10 mins walk where you can find the tourist information center.
Further details
Within 100m of the apartment you have a supermarket, restaurants, medical center, bars and shops. The nearest bank is approx 5 mins walk. Both Los Gigantes and Playa de la Arena also have all of the above.
Booking notes
A £100 deposit is required to confirm the booking of the apartment with the balance to be paid 8 weeks before departure.

Just wanted to say what a lovely holiday we had. I think we must have been very lucky with the weather – it was beautiful. Your apartment was in a great location and very clean. We really appreciated the milk, bread, biscuits etc., particularly as we arrived pretty late. Thank you and hopefully we will visit again!
