Our competitively priced bungalow is situated in a prime location on the small peaceful complex of Jardin del Sol and is suitable for couples who would like more space than the one bed properties can offer, and families. It is surrounded by mature tropical gardens and has the use of a large shared pool and small children's paddling pool. The property is south facing with a sheltered and secluded garden which is one of the largest on the complex. It has the advantage of being only 4 minutes from a pale golden sandy, gently shelving beach with restaurants and shops. The town centre with a good range of shops, bars and restaurants is a 10 minute stroll away along the picturesque promenade. The beautiful Papagayo beaches are only a short drive, bus ride or sea taxi trip away.

£20 a week is charged for each extra person including children per week.
£15 is charged to supply a cot/bedding and high chair for a baby.
Changeover day
Changeover day is usually Thursday but this can be flexible. Check in time is 2pm and check out time is 10am.

Bed linen is provided and changed weekly together with a mini clean at the end of each week, for stays of 2 weeks or more. Bath towels are also provided but guests must bring their own beach towels. |

Notes on accommodation
The property is suitable for children. A safe is available for use. A cot and high chair can be provided for an extra charge of £15. Parking is available outside the property.
Outside
The patio has a large table with five chairs, parasol, 3 sun loungers with cushions, low drinks table and a barbecue, overlooking a large, south facing, sheltered and secluded garden.
Coast/Beach
The area has excellent pale golden, sandy, 'blue flag' beaches, the nearest being Playa Flamingo, which is only a 4 minute walk, with splendid views of Fuerteventura. It is suitable for families with its loungers, parasols and restaurants. A picturesque promenade connects to Playa Blanca's town beach and Playa Dorada, which is a further 10 minute stroll.
Golf
The nearest golf course is at Tias which is about 20 minutes drive away. There are also several mini golf courses within walking distance.
Travel
Arrecife airport is approximately 30 minutes drive. Car hire is cheap, readily available and recommended if you want to explore the island but is not necessary for local amenities. If required, taxis are easily available and there is a taxi rank at the port nearby. Sightseeing trips by coach and sea can be arranged locally. There is a bus service that runs every half hour to the lighthouse one way and close to the Papagayo beaches in the opposite direction. Bus stops are 3 minutes walk away.
Distances
All places of interest on the island can be accessed by no more than an hour's drive. The island has unusual natural scenery: Timanfaya National Park with its famous volcanic landscape is approx. 15 minutes drive. La Cueva de los Verdes an impressive system of caves formed by lava flows is approx. 45 minutes drive. El Golfo (with luminescent green lake) and Los Hervideros (where large waves crash against lava cliffs on windy days)are 10 minutes drive.
Further details
There is a large marina on the east side of Playa Blanca where boats can be hired. Restaurants and designer shops built in typical Canarian style can be found around the marina. There are regular daily ferries to Fuerteventura and sea taxi/boat trips from the port which is 5 minutes walk. Bicycles can be hired from Playa Blanca port. A market is in the town on Wednesdays and Saturdays. There are locally organised tours around the island sights, including Timanfaya National Park. There is a well stocked Spar supermarket 5 minutes walk away, a larger Hyperdino supermarket in the town with car parking facilities underneath. An internet cafe with cheap phone facilities is only 3 minutes walk. The nearest ATMs are on Playa Flamingo beach promenade and close to the Spar supermarket. There is a deep sea diving centre close to Playa Flamingo beach and access to tennis courts opposite, at the Iberostar Hotel.
Booking notes
A deposit of £100 plus a £50 damages deposit for any major breakages (refundable on your return to the UK) to be paid upon receipt of confirmation by us of your booking. Balance of payment must be paid 8 weeks before you travel. You can check availability from the calendar.
