The apartment is on 2 floors with a front patio with table and chairs, giving a spacious and comfortable feeling. There is a private back garden for BBQs or just relaxing on the sunbeds. From the bedroom (upstairs) is a large balcony for breakfast. The apartment has been refurbished and benefits from a full size oven with a four-plate hob, in case you don't feel like visiting one of the many restaurants a short stroll away. The sandy beach, 3 minutes away, is clean and safe for kids of all ages, with cafes and bars overlooking the beach. There are also fantastic rock pools for diving and snorkeling, and at the harbour (3 mins walk) boat trips, glass-bottom boat, scuba diving, jet skis and wind-surfing. Fishing from the rocks is very popular. There's a free bus which takes you to the nearby golf course and the Atlantico centre which boasts a ten-pin bowling alley and multi-screen cinema complex and a supermarket. The market on Saturday is great for gifts.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds for two people. Extra guests ( including children over 3 ) are charged at £20 per person per week.
Extra charge: Final clean £30. If laundry and cleaning are required during your stay this will be charged at cost. Cot hire £10 per week.

Notes on accommodation
WI FI access is available at a very reasonable rate in the apartment if you bring your laptop . We have satellite TV with some GB channels,and Spanish TV with three channels in English We also have a selection of DVDs, and a rental shop on the complex, Some books, games and jigsaws are in the apartment There is also a small library on the complex.
Accessibility
The property has not been specially adapted for people with mobility problems,but the complex is fully accessible and sleeping arrangements can be made on the ground floor. There is only one step from the pathway to the front door for which a ramp could possibly be provided.
Outside
Small enclosed private back garden with sunbeds,table and chairs and traditional Canarian BBQ. Ideal for meals in the evening sunshine. The upstairs balcony has a table and 2 chairs and the private front patio has a table, chairs and parasol which is great for breakfast or lunch in the sun. The communal areas planted with palms and mainly local flora. The two swimming pools (one large pool and one children's) has just opened in September 2010 having been extensively re-furbished. It is surrounded by sunbathing areas with sunbeds and parasols.
Coast/Beach
The pretty man-made horseshoe bay complete with golden sand (safe swimming for kids) and sports marina, is a 2 min walk away. As is the harbour with its cafes and boat-trips. The town (2 mins walk in the other direction) has plenty of bars, restaurants and shops to suit all tastes and a lively Saturday market.
Golf
The free bus outside the complex takes about 10 mins to the Fuerteventura Golf Club which recently hosted the Spanish Open '365 days of sun, 365 days of Golf'.
Travel
Fuerteventura airport is a 10 mins drive and costs about 11 euros in a taxi. Car hire is widely available and cheap if you book it on the internet but is definitely not essential. Also the bus service is very good and not expensive, ie you can go into the capital, Puerto Rosario, with its new shopping mall and tapas bars etc for 1 euro 20 each.
Distances
Caleta de Fuste is situated in the middle of the island, 15 mins from the capital, Puerto del Rosario. You can get to busy Corralejo in the north, with its wonderful sand dunes in about 30mins or an hour to the incredible beaches of Jandia in the south.
Further details
A free 5 minute bus-ride from just outside the complex takes you to the Atlantico Centre - a large modern shopping centre open every day which has 10-pin bowling, cinema, restaurants and snack bars, kids attractions, sandy beaches and gardens and even a large supermarket! A free bus on Tuesdays takes you into the capital Puerto Rosario for shopping and sight seeing.
Windsurfing and Scuba diving lessons are at the harbour also boat trips and Jet Ski hire. Fishing from the nearby rocks is much enjoyed.
Booking notes
A booking will held for 1 week free of charge to enable you to make travel arrangements. Then a non-returnable deposit of £50 per week will secure the time. The balance payable 4 weeks prior to departure. We can take payment either by cheque or bank transfer.
