Situated opposite the harbour in central Playa Blanca the views over the Atlantic are stunning and the fishing boats can be enjoyed as they bob along the ocean. The gated private garden is south facing enjoying the best of the days sun, and is not overlooked. Large patio doors lead to the extensive terrace for alfresco dining and lazing on the sunbeds with balmy evenings, gazing across the softly lit pool and beautiful landscaped gardens. The villa consists of a spacious lounge furnished with a comfortable leather settees, with SKY family package including children's channels and Sky Sports TV, CD stereo system and DVD player. Cot and highchair included. Wi-Fi is available in the villa for a very small nominal charge payable at reception.

Notes on accommodation
Child friendly, enclosed front garden accessed by gate, to keep the little ones safe. Mosquito netting to windows for protection. Set in a premier position. No traffic allowed on complex, very peaceful. Large car park available. Cot and highchair included. Outdoor storage with inflatables, floats etc for everyones use.
Accessibility
The villa is mobility friendly with two small steps leading onto the terrace. The main advantage is the accessability to all the facilities on foot in Playa Blanca due to its fabulous location.
Outside
The villa is situated in beautifully flowering landscaped gardens, there are no cars or vehicles allowed on the complex and overlooks the large shared heated pool giving a tremendous feeling of space. Outside there is a large private tiled terrace and garden area fully enclosed by raised lava walls and not overlooked. Patio table and chairs, parasol and sunloungers are provided. The large south facing terrace comfortably accomodates shade by means of a tastefully designed wooden pergola for eating under and yet is large enough to always catch ample amounts of sun from morning until night. The magnificent pool is heated all year and is complimented with an outdoor shower and a very safe childrens pool. The pool area and surrounding gardens are spectacularly lit up in the evenings affording the most magnificent views. There are two tennis courts for the more energetic and a boules pitch.
Coast/Beach
There are three white sand beaches in Playa Blanca, all popular with families with good facilities and safe swimming. The village beach is a short walk of 5 minutes. Playa Flamingo beach a short walk of 10 minutes and Playa Dorado 15 minutes walk (popular for watersports). They are all connected with a promenade to amble along, enjoy the atmosphere, beaches, restaurants and shops and which ultimately leads to the vibrant and exclusive marina.
Golf
There is a superb new golf course recently opened at Tias which is a 20 minute drive away and there is an 18 hole golf course at Costa Teguise, 30 minutes drive away or for the keen golfer why not play the championship course at Fuerteventura by taking the ferry across from the harbour which is only 200m away. Equipment is available for hire at all courses. There is an existing pitch and put course next to Playa Dorada beach.
Travel
Arrecife airport is a 30 minute drive away.
Car hire is not necessary.
Distances
The pedestrianised village is a 5 minute walk away, where you will find quality shops and restaurants. Nearest supermarket 5 minutes walk.
The harbour is opposite Casas Del Sol and day trips to Fuerteventura are only a 15 minute crossing.

Our friendly receptionist service is open seven days a week until midnight and provides ease of picking up the key and help with any queries, selling useful items, plus advice on sightseeing etc. Ensuring an uncomplicated and relaxing holiday with help always on hand. Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote, and benefits from the maximum sunshine available. It is a wonderfully vibrant fishing village and has a fabulous promenade to amble along stretching over 5km from the lighthouse to the Marina. The resort is family orientated and laid back. High quality villas, four and five star hotels high quality restaurants, shops and the exclusive marina make this an ideal relaxing holiday, with lots of sightseeing and atmosphere. Regular dive centres offer full PADI courses. Bike hire, tennis, crazy golf, jet skiing, banana boat, fly fish,and boat excursions are all available.

About the owner
I have left nursing and midwifery behind to concentrate on our family and develop my interest in interior design. My husband is a practising GP. We all love the outdoor life and play tennis and golf for our local clubs. The boys play rugby and our daughter plays hockey, all representing school and local teams. Our eldest son Sean is studying Engineering at Oxford University, Alex our second son is in the sixth form and Sophie our daughter Year 9. We also have Jessie our adored Golden Retriever. We have been visiting Lanzarote for the last 19 years and love the all year round climate. We particularly love Playa Blanca for its wonderful beaches and upmarket feel. The standard of cuisine is excellent, we really enjoy visiting the various restaurants and eating outside on balmy evenings.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We immediately fell in love with our villa because of it's location and our beautiful patio and garden area affords us stunning views of the pool and sea whilst sat relaxing. We adore watching the boats bobbing along and watching the ferry come in. There is a sense of well being and happiness radiating from the wonderful atmosphere created by the sense of openness watching the skies as the day turns to night whilst listening to the gentle rustle of the palm trees.
The tropical gardens are a delight and the complex is impeccably kept. We love swimming in the fantastic pool because its huge and the kids have great fun with the inflatables. We also use the tennis court every day. We amble along the promenade for our evening meal, a a glass of wine and no worries about getting home.
Unique benefits of the property
Location, location, location that's the saying and it applies not only to our position on the complex but for the resort as well. We bought the villa when it was very dated and I really enjoyed the total renovation including new kitchen, bathroom and complete colour co-ordinated refurbishment. It feels very bright and homely. The villa is slightly raised and we have total privacy as we are not overlooked in any way. The villa is furnished to a very high standard and we really feel that it is home from home, having lots of little extras such as Sky TV - very important for all those sporting events! We originally bought the villa for our personal use but being tied to school holidays we have successfully rented out for the past six years and our guests keep on coming back!
