The apartment has been furnished in Mediterranean style with lots of attention to detail. It has a modern, American kitchen as well as a sleeping and living area to feel comfortable. The pleasant living room features a large plasma TV and an audio tape player/radio with iPod connection. The living room and the bedroom are overlooking the terrace covered in greenery. From here a spiral staircase leads into your private oasis of peace - the large roof-top terrace, offering you a heated whirlpool, an exterior shower and loungers to relax and unwind. A small table on the balcony as well as a bigger dining area on the roof terrace provide for a breakfast in the sunshine. You will be delighted by the cosy atmosphere and the mild Canarian nights.

Outside
El Médano, means nothing but sun for 12 months a year with water temperatures which never fall below 19 degrees and often come up to 25 degrees. The former fishing village is a complete swimming and surfing paradise with the most beautiful, finest and longest natural sandy beaches of the island. Wind and kite surfers are attracted by the Playa Sur beach and in the surf and kite school also beginners can learn the desired sport quickly. Besides the surf schools there are also diving centres where you can gain your diver certification in a short time and then discover the volcanic underwater world in front of El Médano.
Despite the exceptional swimming and water sports conditions, El Médano still has the character of a Spanish village with cosy sea front cafés, small bars with Canarian tapas, outstanding seafood and fresh fish dishes.
El Médano is not a touristic main centre. There are many individual tourists, but no mass tourism.
