The emphasis of this villa is to provide home from home comfort in an exceptional location. It is located in a private position with its own heated swimming pool (both electrically and solar heated). The property is well and comfortably furnished with satellite TV, DVD player and a hi-fi system. There are nearby shops/bars within easy walking distance (5mins) yet they are far enough away so as not to disturb the peace and tranquility of the villa. Likewise, the rocky coastline is only a 5 minute stroll where you can watch the sun set over the Atlantic ocean or walk along the paved coastal pathway.

Notes on prices
Prices are based on a maximum of 4 sharing and are in £ Sterling. Payment can be made in Euros at the prevailing exchange rate at the time.
Discounts for longer-term rentals or short-notice bookings are by negotiation.
Changeover day
The main changeover day is thursday, but increasingly flights now arrive most days of the week so there is no hard and fast rule on this.
Guests are requested to not arrive at the villa before 3.00pm and to leave by 10.30am on the day of departure.
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom one (en-suite) has a kingsized bed with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Bedroom two has 2 single beds, built in wardrobe and bedside units. All in all there is plenty of storage space in both bedrooms. |
| Bathrooms: | Ensuite bathroom to bedroom 1 - with vanity unit, toilet pedestal and bath, including shower over. The main bathroom has a large walk-in shower (ideal for somone needing easy access), vanity unit and a toilet pedestal. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen is well equipped with oven/grill, hob, extractor fan, microwave, fridge/freezer plus the usual kettle and toaster - all you would expect in a home from home environment. |
| Utility Room: | Washing machine, iron and ironing board. A clothes airer is also provided. |
| Living Rooms: | The lounge has a high domed ceiling with marble floor tiles (which are throughout the villa). It is furnished to a good standard with 2 settees, coffee table, hi-fi unit and T.V cabinet. You will quickly pick up on the owners "African" theme. |
| Other: | The dining room has a large teak table and can seat up to 10 people. The large french doors can be opened up to provide open access to the patio area and where a barbeque can be used. |

Bed linen and indoor towels are provided. Bed linen is changed weekly and towels changed mid-week. Please bring your own beach towels. |

Notes on accommodation
The property is suitable for individuals, couples or families alike. The emphasis is on "home from home" comfort in a quiet and peaceful environment.
In addition there is a cot and highchair available plus the use of a small safe to protect your valuables. A hairdryer is also provided.
Accessibility
There is good access to the property which is all on one level. Whilst it has not been specifically adapted for disabled use there is plenty of space to move around and easy access to the shower in the main bathroom.
Earlier comment has been made by a disabled visitor that it was "disabled friendly".
Outside
There is a private heated swimming pool (electric and solar heated). The depth ranges from 1.2m to 1.8m. The pool is cleaned twice a week.
There are 4 sunbeds provided with cushions, outside patio table and chairs as well as 4 reclining easy chairs with cushions.
Additionally a barbeque is provided for that all important "al fresco" living.
Coast/Beach
The rugged coastline is only a 5 minute stroll. Beaches can be found in nearby Playa Flamingo, in the centre of Playa Blanca and Papagayo which is a short drive away, but provides lots of white sandy beaches - reputed to be the best on the island.
Golf
There is a newly built golf course at Tias (approximately 30 mins drive) and one at Costa Teguise (less than an hour away by car).
Special interest holidays
There are a number of local diving schools plus the area is ggod for walking (a walk up Montana Roja is recommended for its views). Plus there are many areas of interest to visit - the volcano at Timafaya just to name one.
Travel
Arrecife airport is only 35 minutes drive. Car hire is readily available and the journey from airport to villa largely a straight run. Taxis are available at the airport.
There is a very good local bus service running the length of the coast line around Playa Blanca.
Distances
Playa Blanca is only a few minutes drive away where you will find many bars and restaurants from which to choose. Local taxis can be obtained and the bus only takes a few minutes to whisk you into town.
There are some local shops and bars which are only a five minute walk from the villa.
Booking notes
A deposit of £100 for each week booked is required on reservation. This is non-refundable. The balance is payable 6 weeks prior to the date of your holiday.

About the owner
I have a philosphy in life which is "it is far easier to get it right than to get it wrong".
I believe that to provide someone with an excellent standard of accommodation that leaves them immediately feeling that "wow factor" means they will come back to the property again and again, as well as recommend it to others. So getting it right is very important in all that I do.
Mi Casa is our private holiday home. It is purposely intended to be very much a home where you can relax and unwind. You will not find stacks of brochures or unlimited amounts of touring guides. Prior to your holiday your will be sent some useful notes and information and there is some in the villa too, but looking at the visitors book is the best guide - comments from people who have spent time there.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
I had a goal of having a home in the sun with my own private swimming pool. The emphasis was on a "home" and somewhere that I really felt I wanted to be.
Faro Park provided that opportunity -individual detached villas where I was able to put my own personal stamp on the property. Plus the added value of all year round sunshine.
The villa is in an excellent position, very private next to a "green area" and sheltered by palms.
I always say it is a great "chill" place where you can relax and unwind. It is extremely peaceful.
Despite its quiet location there is easy walking access to nearby shops and bars and the rugged coastline is only a five minute stroll.

The property is in a well maintained residential area, close enough to walk to local shops and bars, yet far enough away to give a quiet and peaceful retreat.
It has a private garden with its own kidney-shaped swimming pool where you can relax, soak up the sun and feel totally at home.
There is a local bus service which takes you right along the coastal area of Playa Blanca - from Faro Park, into the main town and right through to the new marina (Rubicon).
