Villa Ventura is a private detached villa on La Capellania just 5 minutes drive from the popular resort of Corralejo. This spacious villa has its own private pool and large patio rear garden. It is attractively furnished and has a fully equipped contemporary kitchen including dishwasher. Onsite facilities supermarket, cafe. The villa is just inland (8 mins drive) from the famous sand dunes and spectacular beaches on the Corralejo National Park. There is a new Water Park opened in 2005 about 4 mins by car from the Villa. Changeover day
Usual changeover day is Wednesday but we can be very flexible with this. Willing to be flexible with both arrival and departure time, although we prefer a departure of 10am.

Coast/Beach
Fuerteventura has some of the most glorious beaches in the world, miles of long sandy beaches all within easy reach of the villa. The local town beach (5 mins drive) situated adjacent to Corralejo harbour seldom becomes crowded. The beaches bordering Corralejo are spectacular and have a range of facilities including wind surfing, kite surfing and diving. At El Cottilio you have a choice of the very safe lagoon beaches or coved beaches brilliant for body boarding and surfing.
Golf
The nearest golf course is in Caleta De Fuste. This course was home to the Spanish open in 2004, it is about a 45 minute drive south of the villa.
Travel
35 mins from the airport. It's worth hiring a car, they are relatively cheap and it's a great way to wander off and discover the islands many hidden delights. However, it's not essential as taxis are available into Corralejo at a charge of approx 4 euros. There is also a regular bus service into Corralejo at the the security gate and costs 1 euro.
Distances
5 mins from the main town Corralejo. The fantastic Oliva beach (sand dunes) only 8 mins. More beautiful beaches can be found in El Cotillo 15 mins. The new Water Park and Bowling 5 mins. 45 mins to the nearest Golf Course. All distances by car.
Further details
The Local Resort of Corralejo: Corralejo still has the charm of the old Spanish town together with the newer attractions. There are a host of bars and restaurants catering for a wide range of tastes. If you like to shop you will find plenty to choose from. The harbour is great for restaurants and surround the town beach, great for eating at night if you have young children you can keep an eye on them playing on the beach whilst you sit in the pavement restaurants, you may even get to eat at the same time! Here you can book boat trips, diving, snorkelling or even get a ferry to Lanzarotte, they leave on the hour. Going south it is definitely worth checking out the Zoo in La Lajita, set in a tropical oasis there are more than 200 species of birds, a range of animals and the popular reptile and seal lion shows are a hit with the children.
