Both of these villas, each one in a row of 6, are bright, airy and spacious. They enjoy prime positions on the site, facing the open squares and gardens, yet close enough to the pool area to keep an eye on what is going on, far enough to be quiet. On the ground floor there is a large lounge comfortably furnished with good sized TV, video and DVD, quality hi-fi and a dining area. Each villa opens onto a front patio furnished with table, parasol, chairs and own sunbeds for lazing in the sun. Also downstairs there are separate fully fitted kitchens, a bathroom with bath, shower, bidet and toilet and two twin bedrooms. Upstairs in the three bedroomed villa is a second bathroom, equipped as downstairs and the master bedroom with fitted mirrored wardrobes (safe inside) and access to the large upstairs patio for even more sunbathing.

Changeover day
Normal changeover day is Thursday, with booking in after 2pm and departure before 11am. but with more and more airlines offering flights on each day of the week, we try to be flexible, so do contact us.

3 twin bedrooms plus an extra full sized folding bed, which can be located wherever you need it, should this be needed.
2 bathrooms, one on each floor, each with bath, shower, bidet, washbasin and toilet.
Kitchen with lots of cupboard space, large fridge-freezer, ceramic hob, electric oven; microwave; dishwaher;washing machine and laundry drying area.
Spacious living area has comfortable seating, plus dining area.
Sleeps a maximum of 7 people.
Linen and towels provided,although please bring your own pool/ beach towels. There is a CD-radio-stereo system, TV, DVD player, video player. This property benefits from a large upstairs roof terrace which offers private sun-bathing and a quiet place to enjoy an evening drink. On the complex there are two swimming pools, one large, one for infants, set in an attractive, landscaped pool area.

Additionaly this property enjoys a large and fairly private front patio as well as private rear garden.

 

Notes on accommodation
We have taken a lot of time to make sure that everything you need for a self-catering holiday is here. Linen/bath towels are provided and changed once a week but you need to bring your own pool/beach towels.
Our agent is based on the site and is responsible for making sure you are happy with everything - she will call at regular intervals and is available anytime to offer any assistance you may need.

Outside
Puerto Calero is probably the most prestigous area on the island and this complex maintains the high standard. There is a large shared pool and a shallow infants pool. There is a little childrens play area with swings and slide etc.There are also garden areas and a solarium. Each property has its own patio furniture and sun loungers, as well as a barbeque.

Coast/Beach
Nearest coastline is 5 minutes walk away, with secluded rocky coves excellent for exploring and children net fishing. Nearest sandy beaches are 5 minutes drive away in Puerto del Carmen, ranging from long sandy beaches to secluded sandy coves. Directions on how to reach them can be found in the villas.

Golf
There is a golf course in Costa Teguise, approximately 15 minutes drive.

Travel
Nearest airport is Arrecife, about 15 minutes drive to the complex. Although the marina development is self contained, we recommend hiring a car for your stay. This will allow you to make the most of your visit and really get to know what this lovely, fascinating island has to offer.

Distances
5 minutes down the hill and you are in the Puerto Calero Marina, which has a range of first class restaurants , cafes and bars and also a supermarket. Various Island excursions originate from Puerto Calero, including submarine and catermaran trips, also diving.

Further details
Please, please, please get out and do a bit of exploring. A car is essential for this. I know you are here to relax and soak up the sun but you will get a lot more out of your holiday if you venture away from the main resorts of Puerto del Carmen, Playa Blanca etc.

Mirador del Rio, Cueva de los Verdes, (Greens Caves), Jameos del Aqua, Cactus Gardens, San José Castle (Museum of contemporary art), Museum to the farm labourer, Fire mountains and most importantly Manriques house – ARE ALL HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. There is a lot more to do on this rock than meets the eye. Also the towns of HARIA and ARRIETA in the north are well worth a visit.
We have tried wind surfing and scuba diving, snorkelling and early morning mountain walks as well as surfing (over at Famara beach, idyllic!) We also just sleep by the pool...
