Casas Del Sol is a development of villas set in beautiful mature gardens opposite the harbour in Playa Blanca. The complex is mainly traffic free having a car park at the entrance but allowing access to the villas for luggage drop off and pick up. A solar heated swimming pool and children’s pool form the centre of this development with sun beds and shade by the pool and there is also an outdoor shower. The reception office is staffed 7 days a week until midnight so late arrivals are always catered for plus there is also a small store for essential groceries also open late. A tennis court to the rear of the complex add to the amenities to be enjoyed on this site. The atmosphere on this complex is very laid back, friendly and cosmopolitan making this perfect for a relaxing holiday. The location is excellent as it is very central being opposite the harbour and only a few few minutes walk away from the beaches, shops and restaurants and all the main amenities of Playa Blanca.

Notes on accommodation
A portable electric heater is provided for cool winter evenings. Ideal for children and older people, not far from pool and on the flat. A cot and highchair can be hired. Free wi-fi and a static computer are available in the main reception area of the complex.

The villa benefits from a large terrace with a nice garden outlook and a good selection of high quality terrace furniture and cushions.
Coast/Beach
There are 2 beaches both within 5-10 mins walk and another about a 20 min walk.

Arrecife airport is 40 mins drive away.

Further details
A wonderful selection of shops and restaurants in the village, several well appointed hotels for evening entertainment, boat trips from the harbour. There is a regular ferry service to Fuertaventura from the harbour. A scenic walk along the promenade which is mainly on the flat which starts from just across the road.

We are Paul and Christine Collins and we live in Poole, Dorset with our 2 teenage daughters.We have been taking them to Playa Blanca since they were born so we know a little about taking a family on holiday there. We love holidays and have been to many parts of the world but Lanzarote has a unique charm which we haven't found anywhere else.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We bought our first property in 1987 as we wanted a holiday location that we could visit all year round without worrying about the weather as it is generally hot in the summer and warm in the winter. We feel at home here as the area has a relaxed easy atmosphere and we start enjoying our holiday the minute we arrive. We also feel safe and comfortable with our daughters as there is a good mix of families and couples and different nationalities.
Unique benefits of the property
We look after our properties with care and attention to detail and we have a good team who help us in the resort to keep them in tip top condition. We have satellite TV, DVD & CD players in all villas and many other extra fascilties not normaly found in rented villas. Each of our properties has been particularly chosen for a quiet setting but with easy access to the local fascilities. This villa was completey refurbished in 2006 and this year had new patio doors and a new patio laid.We also provide a local map, and suggestions for restuarants etc before you go amongst lots of other useful information.
