Rental prices are based on 2 people sharing additional occupancy is £45 per person per week.
The swimming pool has solar heating which is constant throughout the year. During November- March electric heating is needed to keep the pool temperature at it's year round temperature of 27/28 degrees Celsius/85 degrees Fahrenheit. An additional charge of £50 p.w. is made Nov/March for electric pool heating.
Changeover day
Our preferred changeover day is a Thursday particularly over the busy summer period (July/August) outside of this time we try to be as flexible as possible.

| Living Rooms: | The spacious living room has access to the swimming pool and terrace through sliding doors, it offers all the comfort of home ie. satellite TV and a combined TV/DVD/Video and hi-fi system along with a large selection of CD/DVD's, board games and books. |

Notes on accommodation
We provide a complimentary starter pack which includes a bottle of water, carton of orange juice, carton of milk, some tea bags, coffee sachets and sugar. If you require a more substantial welcome pack we can provide this please enquire. A cot and high chair are also available free of charge. We can advise on car hire please enquire or if you would prefer not to hire a car we can arrange for a pick up from and to the airport in Arrecife.
Accessibility
The design of the Villa allows easy access for wheelchairs - all living, sleeping, eating, swimming and recreational areas being on one level.
Outside
A particular feature of Villa Alicia is its large private garden surrounded by high volcanic walls - this creates an "oasis" which is private not being overlooked in any way - ideal for relaxing by the pool. The Villa has generous terraced areas offering the opportunity of sunbathing, sitting in the shade or eating al fresco. A selection of comfortable sun loungers, tables and chairs are available allowing you to make the most of the all year round warm sunny climate. The Villa has a large 8 x 4m private salt-chlorinated (low allergen) heated swimming pool both solar and electric heating available - the pool has Roman steps making it easy to get in and out of.
A separate terrace leads out from the open/plan kitchen dining area providing the obvious space for enjoying a BBQ.
Coast/Beach
Playa Blanca is the southern most resort on the Island and subsequently benefits from the maximum sunshine available. The Villa is located on a quiet development and yet is only 15 minute walk to the nearest beach - Playa Flamingo and the centre of Playa Blanca with its shops, restaurants, cafes and harbour - where you can take the ferry to Fuerteventura/Los Lobos. From Playa Blanca you can walk along the beautiful seafront promenade which leads you to the new international Marina Rubicon.
Golf
The nearest golf course currently is in Puerto del Carmen which is a 20 minutes drive away from Playa Blanca.
Special interest holidays
There is a dive centre at the Marina Rubicon in Playa Blanca which offers full PADI courses and for those already qualified regular dive trips from the Marina HQ.
Travel
The airport at Arrecife is a 35- 45 mins car drive away. If you don't want to hire a car, we can organise a 'pick up' service to and from the airport please ask for details. Local taxis which are inexpensive are also available on site near the villa - 2 minute walk away. If you wish to visit places of interest on the island we would recommend car hire (we can help with this- please ask). Playa Blanca as a resort however offers all you will need for a relaxing holiday if you wish to stay locally.
Distances
The nearest supermarket (a small starter pack is provided)and restaurant are approximately a 2 mins walk from the Villa. Playa Flamingo the nearest beach is approx- a 15 minute walk or a 2 minute drive. Villa Alicia is well located for local transport so if you don't want to hire a car for the whole or part of your holiday both taxi and bus links are close at hand. The taxi rank is a 2 minute walk away. The bus stop for the local bus is a 2 minute walk away takes you to the beach and P.B.
Further details
Lanzarote is a beautiful island and there are a variety of possible activities and places of interest to visit - we have compiled a guide book which is available to guests visiting the Villa.
There are water skiing facilities available off the beaches in Playa Blanca, along with paragliding and doughnut and banana rides. There is also a submarine which takes you for a 45 minute underwater trip around Playa Blanca coastline.
Booking notes
£150 per week deposit (i. E. £300 for a 2 week stay) is required at the time of booking - the balance to be paid 8 weeks before arrival. In addition a separate refundable breakages/call out deposit of £300 is required - cheque not banked. Please note that this villa has a no smoking policy, however there are large external patio/terrace areas for this purpose.
