Tazo, sunny westcoast, in the country, overlooking the ocean and mountain ridges. The studio/guesthouse, contains one large open-plan room 7x4m, which includes a small fully equipped kitchen .Separated bathroom.

| Bathrooms: | Shower, toilet and washbasin.With plenty of towels. Also beachtowels. |
| Kitchen: | Fully equipped kitchen. Soaps and powders to clean and wash. Oil, lemon, salt, pepper and herbs for food and teas. Arrival day: fruit, vegetables, wine / beer, coffee, tea, sugar. |
| Living Rooms: | Owner on property. Left part of the house is where I (Maria) live. Right part of the house is for rent. It is a bed/sitting/kitchen room 7x4m (Studio).Separated bathroom. You have your own terrace and space and the shared veranda Fitted wardrobes. |

Linen and towels included and are provided as required. Cleaning can be arranged on request for €11 an hour (incase you stay longer.) Room fan can be supplied. |

Notes on accommodation
I do not have a TV but I do have speakers for your mp3. You can bring your laptop for watching my movies (english and spanish)and I do have a radio/CD player with CDs. Wi-fi connection. Natural materials like cottons, wool, feathers, wood, bamboo. Wood stove for chilly evenings in winter(if that happens occasionally.) With one box of wood. More wood is available for €2.50 a small box (2 evenings burning pleasure). Lots of storage space. Hammocks to relax. I like to keep the place clear and clean for you and for me and other people. Respect this to enjoy the beauty of this place and the surrounding. That's why I ask you not to smoke inside, neither the veranda and garden. The place is to be kept clear and clean.

No steps, level access throughout.

Outside
The garden has young fruit trees, some vegetables and herbs for food and teas. When you are here to have the place for your own, you have to water the garden 2-3x a week, it takes 1/2 hour each time, thank you.
Coast/Beach
Beach at Alojera. To the beach is 15 minutes drive.(6km) It is a dirt road with curves so you will not drive more than 20km an hour. It is a sandy/rock beach good for swimming whole year round, except on a full moon day it is rough. There is a restaurant with fresh fish. On the way in Alojera is a supermarket/cafe. Travel
At Tenerife south (sur) TFS You can take a taxi (22€) or bus (2€) to Los Cristianos. The bus goes every half hour. You step out in Los Cristianos centre and you can walk to the harbour or take a taxi from there (5€). Armas return ticket (37€) is cheaper than Fred Olsen. In San Sebastian de La Gomera you can rent a car or I pick you up (44€). It is a one hour 15 min drive to Tazo.
Further details
Valle Gran Rey; 45 min drive(25km), is good for shopping, beaches, cafe, restaurants, banks and petrol, to hire a car or a bike, bio vegetable market on Friday. Art market on Sundays.Vallehermoso has a beautiful swimming pool next to the ocean, also petrol and supermarket and a botanic garden.
Booking notes
You pay at arrival. In case you can not come, you have to give me notice 4 weeks before arrival day. Any time in between those 4 weeks you should pay me 20% of the rent, thank you.

I stayed here in September 2011 and it was unforgettable; a true retreat in the mountains of Tazo....... not a sound could be heard in the valley, a true return to nature....... it was rare a car passed on the nearby mountain road, or a neighbour passed by on foot. Use of a vehicle is essential in this location to enjoy the natural beauty spots around the area.....the owner of the property knows them all, she travels a short journey regularly to the natural mountain springs in Epina forest
(an amazing beauty spot) to collect the healthful fresh spring drinking water that flows in abundance. The house is newly built and to a very high specification. A perfect location for hiking and walking.Deborah.

Grew up in Holland, lived in New Zealand, Canary Islands. Travelled many countries. Stayed at many different places. Have 3 adults/children living in Holland and I like to visit them every now and then.

I love Islands.La Gomera ,they say is the most beautifull one.
The climate is great and it has unspoiled nature.
Tazo is remote and quite and near the ocean.
The people are so friendly and helpfull.
I realised a new house in the old style.

It is great for hiking in these surroundings.
