Extensive sunbathing area around a 9 x 4m heated pool, with a Canarian BBQ and 2 tables with parasols for 'alfresco' dining. Extensive views from ground and sun roof terrace of golf, sea and hills. Fully furnished and equipped for 6/8, with linen and towels supplied. Extensive video/DVD library, sky satellite TV. (not BBC1, 2 or ITV) Wi Fi. Mosquito blinds to all windows to take advantage of the cooling evening breeze. A peaceful area just 10/15 mins stroll from 5* Elba Palace Golf Hotel and Golf Club, with the Atlantico Centre facilities and lagoon beaches again only 15 mins stroll in the opposite direction.

Changeover day
Changeover day is now flexible, even in high Summer. We endeavour to allow guests to arrive/depart to suit their flight times, however if this is not possible, as in High Summer, we adhere to 10am departure, 4pm arrival.

Notes on accommodation
All requirements for young children, cots, etc., can be hired from our management company at good rates. Mosquito blinds at every window allowing you to take advantage of the cooling evening breeze.
Smokers are requested not to smoke inside the villa but to take full advantage of the extensive patio areas & sun roof.
Outside
Private, heated pool, 9x4m with Roman style steps. Solar cover to be replaced at night to retain heat. Heater automatically 'clicks' in when temp needs to be maintained.
8 sunbeds with cushions with 4 small drinks tables. 2 large tables with parasols for dining, one close to the Canarian BBQ. Bench situated in the shaded entrance area. Small table and chairs (with room for 2 of the sunbeds) on the sun roof terrace.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches are at the entrance to the Golf Course, at the Atlantico Centre. 2 man made lagoon beaches, with fine golden sand and safe swimming, with a stylish restaurant and bar between the beaches, reached via a bridge/walkway. 20 max stroll from the villa. The large bay and beach of Caleta De Fuste can be reached in 6 mins by car. Offering safe swimming, water sports, diving, snorkeling, jet ski etc as well as the marina facilities, touch pool, sea lion display and boat trips.
Golf
17th green and 18th Tee just 1 minute from the villa. The clubhouse is just the length of the 18th, away. Home to the Spanish 'Open', April 2004, a great many complimentary remarks were made about the course and the playing conditions. An 18 hole, par 71, with a 50 bay driving range and 2 practice greens. The 365 day a year course is comfortable to play, even in the middle of the day due to the constant cooling breeze. A meandering stream feeds 3 large lakes and the course is planted with mature palms and attractive cactus and sub tropical gardens. The golf club is situated in the 5* Elba Palace Golf Hotel and offers a very fine 19th hole for relaxation. The hotel boasts a very good restaurant for fine dining. Green Fees are approx 35/55 Euros. The Salinas Golf Course, immediately next to our golf course is popular and allows keen golfers the opportunity to play 2 good courses within the same area.
Travel
Fuerteventura Airport is only 15 mins transfer. Ferries to Lanzarote are an hour away in Correlejo. Car hire is not essential as the taxi service is efficient and very reasonably priced. Immediate facilities are within walking distance. However, I recommend hiring a car as there are so many 'out of the way' places to visit and the villa is well placed for trips both to the South and North of the Island.
Further details
The Atlantico Centre is the nearest area for shopping and entertainment, with several good clothes/electrical shops and a large 'Spar' supermarket which has everything you would need. There are restaurants and bars overlooking the promenade and sea, with pizza, a sandwich and burger bar for snacks. There is a small games/entertainment area for the children and a ¾ length bowling alley (with a bar) for the whole family. There is a multiplex cinema too but as yet all films are shown in Spanish only. The Sol bank is open daily and there is also a cash machine. There are 2 internet terminals in the entertainment area. A walk or taxi ride into Caleta town adds even more variety of restaurants and bars, some with live entertainment. There is an African Market on Saturday morning and is always full of vibrant characters and a true chance to show off your bartering skills. If you choose not to hire a car, then excursions can be organised from town and there are several on offer, including trips to the endless beaches in the South, the dunes in the North, La Lajita Zoo and Botanical Garden, camel rides, water park, catamaran and boat trips.

I will hold your dates provisionally, to allow you time to organise flights etc. Once you have your flights, I will send you a small information booklet and booking form and ask you to return the form completed,with a non refundable deposit of £100 per week booked. Deposit receipt confirmation sent. Balance payment due 6 weeks before departure. Confirmation of payment sent with all contact/local info.

Hello, I'd like to give you little background on why we bought a villa in Fuerteventura, ended up renting it and then bought another!
Nick & I have been in business together for 31 years & in 2002, while holidaying there with our children Alec (now 22) & Alice (now 18), we all fell in love with the Island. It's 'untouched' feel in some areas and the luxury in others, charmed us. The air feels clear and helped by the wind, we have never felt overwhelmed by the heat.....An ideal place for us to holiday with growing kids.
We bought Villa La Paz & spent weeks enjoying our second home. We saw the opportunity to rent & found that our guests felt the same.
We bought the larger villa,Casa Piedra in 2008 & have loved sharing both villas with our guests ever since.
