Puerto Chico ‘A’ - a bungalow in Club Puerto Chico, Playa Blanca. Sleeps: 4/5, 2 bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin room, both with spacious built in wardrobes. An additional fold-away bed, at extra cost, can be provided upon request. 2 bathrooms. The kitchen and living room are an open plan design. The living room leads out to the private spacious 70m2 patio having a variety of furniture and separate alfresco dining area adjacent to a built-in barbeque. Features: Twice weekly maid service; Communal heated pool, with separate shower area; Wheelchair users - The property has a ramp leading to the front doorstep; French doors step onto the extensive patio and BBQ area. Provided you have some mobility this property is ideally situated and very suitable for impaired walkers, however, there are no special provisions for the totally wheelchair reliant. Please discuss location/facilities with the owners.

Changeover day
It is the clients choice to arrive any day of the week and stay for any period from 3 to 365 nights duration. Arrival time is 1400hrs and departure time is 1000hrs on date of departure to allow property servicing.

Accessibility
Wheelchair access by ramp to front door and a small step to the patio area. It is possible to access the swimming pool area by wheelchair.
Outside
Extensive patio with sun beds and cushions, parasol, table and chairs, clothes airer, having a separate alfresco dining area adjacent to a built-in barbeque. This secluded area offers excellent views of the Playa Blanca bay. There is a large electrically heated shared swimming pool set in the well tended private gardens of Club Puerto Chico. The garden area leads onto the illuminated promenade which gives easy level access to Flamingo Beach and in the other direction heads toward Playa Blanca village and the Rubicon Marina.
Coast/Beach
5 minutes walk from the bungalow is Flamingo beach which is small and secluded and ideal for families with young children. In the opposite direction is the Town beach in the centre of Playa Blanca (7 minutes walk) and Dorado Beach is a 10 minutes walk from the villa. Here there are water sports - banana boat, jet skis, pedaloes, paracending. There is a dive centre located at the shopping centre just off this well furnished beach.
Golf
There is an 18 hole golf course 35km from the property.
Travel
The distance to Arrecife airport is 35km and takes approx 30 mins by taxi and currently costs 30/35 euros including tip. Car hire is not required for the immediate area but to take advantage of all the island has to offer a car is recommended. The ferry to Fuerteventura leaves from the harbour and the sea crossing takes less than 20 mins.

Distance to airport (Arrecife) 30 mins drive. Distance to the beach 5 mins walk. Nearest restaurant 2 mins walk. Nearest Spar shop and local shops 2 mins walk. Playa Blanca shops including a further 4 supermarkets 7 mins walk. See my website at bottom of page for further details.

Bars, restaurants and night club (nearest 2 mins). Glass Bottom Boat/Leisure trips (3 mins walk). Pirate ship - Search the harbour or Rubicon Marina. Crazy Golf. (7 mins walk). Green lagoon at El Golfo (15 mins drive). Sailing - Puerto Calero (15 mins drive).
Booking notes
A non-refundable 25% deposit (minimum £100 per week) is payable on confirmation of booking. The balance is to be paid no later than eight weeks prior to arrival. Rates shown can be subject to change, existing confirmed bookings will be honoured where prices increase.
Price includes a welcome pack upon arrival.

Dear Ruth - a belated email just to say how much we enjoyed our stay at Puerto Chico 'A'. We really like the location and having visited all the Canary Is. this is our favourite. The weather was fabulous every day of our visit and the secluded terrace is a great bonus + the Spar so close!!. The pool water was really warm so we swam every day which was a delight.
