Our apartment is situated in the quieter part of the complex. Easy access too parking. Ground floor so no stairs. The private garden is not overlooked and is south facing enjoying the sun all day. The gardens are stunning with waterfalls leading down to a pond which is stocked with turtles and carp. The heated pool is one of the best in the area and has an Island bar/restaurant that will serve you food and drink while you take in the sun at the pool side or at the bar. The pool has a full time lifeguard so you can relax while the kids join in organised games throughout the year. The complex itself is gated not just for security but to stop other people using the facilities and spoiling your stay. There are two other bar restaurants on site The Palms (more formal) The premier Bar(a family style Bar) Amarilla car Hire, Free Wi Fi area child safe play area and a ATM. Across the road is a well stocked supermarket and a couple more Bar/restaurants.

Fairways is nestled within Amarilla golf course on the south coast of Tenerife.Ten minutes from TFS Airport.The complex overlooks the Atlantic and has a back drop of Mount Teide.

Ten minutes walk to the marina leading to coastal walk lined with restaurants of all nationalities.A short walk takes you into San Blas this has more eateries,bars and shops.

Car hire is not essential but recomended .Amarilla Car Hire is a well est family run business within Fairways. They offer clean well maintained competitively priced Car Hire.Free airport pick up and drop off inc in price (no hidden extras).
As they look after our apartment.i.e cleaning/maintenance. If you need any help with apartment/general enquiries they are on site and are always happy too help. Even if you don't use Susanne and Steve for car hire, they are still their to help.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
In 2006 we were looking for a investment property.As we had been holidaying in tenerife on and off for twenty years and also have family living their it seemed the obvious choice.We checked out all the usual areas Los Christianos,americas,ect.By chance we came across Fairways. We fell in love with the place at once. It reminded us of the tenerife of old,remote yet within walking distance of the Marina,coastal walks,varied restaurants and San Blas a shopping area set within Golf Del Sur. A car is not essential but recommended.Ten minutes from the Airport,five minutes to varied supermarkets and retail outlets. 15 minutes to Americas, Siam water park, Go carting not to mention that Fairways itself is set within a championship golf course and within thirty minutes drive to another four courses
Unique benefits of the property
The complex is gated and requires a pass card to gain entry. This is not just for security but to stop other people using the heated pool which is the best in the area and the restaurants set within the complex. There is also car hire and a salon for the ladies to pamper themselves. When you are not in the mood for cooking or eating out The Premier Bar part of the complex offers a take away/home delivery(exclusive to Fairways)at no extra cost from their excellent menu.Across the road is a well stocked supermarket and a few more bar/restaurants. We have stayed over the years in many apartments around Europe. But without doubt this is the best maintained complex we have ever stayed in. After only a couple of days you will feel totally safe, relaxed,lay back and recharge your batteries.
