Lovely Winter Gardens apartment overlooking the Bowling Green with sea views. This attractive and well maintained complex is suitable for mature families and couples. There are lifts and ramps to all areas so is also wheelchair friendly. Although the airport is only 10 mins away, we are not under the flight path. Los Cristianos and El Medano and well worth a visit and only 10-15 min drive away. There is a restaurant and bar on the complex and many more plus shops within walking distance. Numerous Golf Courses all within minutes. A bus stops outside and taxis are readily available.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. Keys available from 5pm - day of arrival, you are required to vacate by 10:00am - day of departure. We may be able to accommodate requests for late check out if the apartment is not in use on the same day.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is light, bright and spacious with wonderful views from the large balcony. The complex is clean and friendly with a lovely bar and restaurant on site as well as the 8 lane bowling green which is available for experienced bowlers as well as beginners. Smoking is only allowed on the balcony and not within the apartment.
Accessibility
The complex is wheelchair friendly with many ramps around the site. Our apartment is directly opposite the lift so easy entry when arriving with cases or shopping bags. The lift from the underground car park also arrives opposite the apartment door.
Outside
The shared pool is heated with a children's pool adjacent, sunloungers and shades are provided free around the pool. The pool is for residents only and an access key is provided on arrival. Our balcony is a good size with table and chairs and sunlounger. The large bowling green can be hired at the on site shop and lessons are available for beginners.
Coast/Beach
Winter Gardens is close to the sea, the sand in Golf del Sur is black. There are lovely white sandy beaches in Los Cristianos and El Medano both of which are a 10 min drive or a bus ride away. Shops, bars and entertainment venues are all in close walking distance with a fantastic selection of restaurants to choose from. Waterparks, go karting, animal parks etc are all within 10-15 mins away with free bus services available. Close by is the marina and walkway to the nature reserve.
Golf
As the name suggests, Golf del Sur is abundant in Golf Courses, all with wonderful views and lush scenery. The nearest Golf Course is only 5 minutes from the apartment.
Special interest holidays
International 8 lane Bowling Green on site. Spectators can watch from the balcony or the bar/restaurant adjacent to the Green, there is no charge for spectators. The hire shop is on site and lessons can be booked for beginners.
Complex is in close proximity to numerous Golf Courses. Kite surfing is available in El Medano and surfing in Los Cristianos (both a 10 min drive)
Travel
Tenerife South airport is a 10-15 minute drive away, approx 12-15 euro in taxi. Car hire is not essential as there is a bus stop outside of the complex and taxi fares are reasonable.
Distances
San Blas shops are 10 minute walk. Los Cristianos and Las Americas are 10-15 min by car. El Medano 10-15 min by car. Siam Waterpark 10 minutes by car. Yellow Submarine 10 minute walk.

We live in England and have enjoyed visiting all the Canary Islands over many years. We have found that Tenerife offers the most variety and most spectacular scenery of all the islands. We have bought an apartment that we are more than happy to stay in when we are in Golf del Sur and have tried to make sure that there is everything you could possible want while on holiday in the apartment - and more!

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We have visited this area of Tenerife for many years and found that Golf del Sur had the right mix of everything we wanted, not too lively, not too quiet. We decided to buy a property for our own use and also rental so wanted somewhere that not only offered rental potential but also we would love coming to. Sitting enjoying a cold beer on a hot day in Winter Gardens we decided you wouldn't find anywhere better in Golf del Sur so purchased a lovely apartment overlooking the bowling green but also with sea views.
Unique benefits of the property
Winter Gardens is one of the best kept complexes on the Golf del Sur (we have looked at quite a few) it is so clean and well maintained. It is safe for children and also has ramps for those with limited mobility. Whether you play bowls or not it is so relaxing on a sunny day to watch the matches and enjoy the friendly atmosphere.
